My first time as a host. And what a day!🧵

Joseph Campbell wrote that every hero’s journey begins with a call. At the Richmond Solution Experience 2026, I had the honor of hosting the day when a room full of educational leaders decided to answer it.

It didn’t feel like a conference. I wanted to design an experience that felt like a journey: a map from @vickys16 , voices of leaders in a panel, and a guide in @alenievesvaldes , and finally a threshold that we crossed together. The day was different, innovative, and full of connection and real emotion.

Thank you, @richmondeltar for trusting me with the thread.
Thank you @natjunco for believing en every crazy idea I have.
Thanks to the wonderful team who organized every single detail impeccably.

And thank you to every educator who showed up, listened, and decided.

💛

Mi primera vez como host. Y ¡qué día! 🧵

What a wonderful event you’ve organised @mmasuyama.elt @eugeianiro You’ve given teachers from every single province in our country a space to share what’s happening in their classrooms 🇦🇷💛 It was a great opportunity to meet colleagues, listen to experts, exchange ideas and, most importantly, learn more about our very own students ✨

Creating spaces where teachers can come together, talk to each other and learn from one another is vital and this event did exactly that 🫶🏼

Is AI sharpening your students’ minds—or standardizing shortcut culture? 🧠🤖

When learners delegate basic critical thinking to AI, the risk of “cognitive offloading” becomes real. If educators don’t step in to guide how tech is used in the classroom, we risk losing the foundational skills that make true learning stick.

Catch Episode 236: Teaching Languages in the AI Era (Part 2) featuring Belen Albarracin to dive deep into bridging the gap between smart tech and smarter learning! 🎧✨

Are AI checkers failing your classroom? 🤖❌

When AI detectors can’t be trusted, the real test of learning isn’t on paper—it’s in the conversation. Shifting the focus to oral assessments might just be the key to authentic evaluation in the AI era. 💬✨
