By Vic Glaskunst is nieuw bij SHE ArtGalley

I had the honor of participating in the International Biennale of Glass in Sofia, Bulgaria✨️@ibg_bulgaria @ibg_collection_tryavna
The exhibition opened on Thursday and runs until November 30, 2025.
The multifaceted showcase inspired me, and the many enriching conversations with colleagues from the glass art community were incredibly rewarding.
A heartfelt thank you to the organizing team for the invitation and the outstanding execution of this special event!

We thank @vvmg_modernglas magazine by the Dutch Association of Modern Glass, and Mr. Han de Kluijver, for featuring the International Biennale of Glass's fifth edition, taking place at the National Gallery Kvadrat 500 in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 18 September to 30 November, 2025!

"The Biennale is more than an exhibition. For the participants, it is a moment of reflection, encounter, and exchange. Of ideas and materials. Because glass is never just an object. It is also the result of thinking, feeling, traveling, collaborating, and observing. A work of glass bears traces of cultural background, technical skill, aesthetic sensibility, and personal conviction. Meaning arises in that field of tension. This is where everything comes together: hand, head, and heart.
That is perhaps what makes biennials so special: they show how the human imagination - through a centuries-old material - tells a contemporary story."

- Han de Kluijver

Work in progress…

Kom vooral even binnen waaien. #glassart #glassblowing #female #glaskunst #installatie #modernglas #glasblazen #nl #brabant #vught #expositie
