A lot of people grew up loving Nacho Libre, but don’t know about the legend the story was actually based on. Sergio Gutiérrez Benítez, also known as Fray Tormenta. A real-life priest who put on a lucha mask for 23 years and fought in the ring just to keep his orphanage alive. Lived a true life of duality for a greater cause. Homage to the real legend.

I miss the early mornings, playing in the rain, the silence before the whistle, the perfect stage set for you to perform. I miss losing with a team, and even the pain after a bad tackle. Hell, I even miss the sheer anxiety of being in the car halfway to the field and having to tell my parents I forgot my cleats. All of it seems to be a blur, now that it’s over. But there’s something about growing up playing sports that never really leaves you. I think that same feeling followed me into creating. Now the field turned into photoshoots, screenprinting, late nights designing, trying to build something that feels honest. Different world, same heart. Maybe that’s why so many athletes become artists in the end, because we were always chasing expression, purpose, and a feeling bigger than ourselves.

Introducing the World Cup Collection, screenprinted by hand in Los Angeles. Available 5/15/26 9AM. (I haven’t touched the ball in a few years so please be easy on me.)
