POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

One of the things I’m most proud of with Toy Guns is how much we were able to create with so little.

We approached the cinematography with a minimal tungsten lighting kit, embracing darkness and letting shadows become part of the frame.

The goal was always to give the film a moody, atmospheric look that reflected the world these characters were living in. The heavy, uncertain, and sometimes threatening.

Winning Best Cinematography meant a lot because so much of the visual language of this film came from finding creative ways to work within our limitations.

Sometimes less light gives you more.

I want to take a moment to recognize one of the original students who helped launch AC Acting Studios back when we were still The Actors Chapel.

Victor Bonineva, originally from Los Angeles, was one of the first to walk through our doors — and today, he’s thriving in his craft. His journey is proof that if you stay committed, keep doing the work, and never stop pushing forward, success will come.

Congratulations, Victor. We’re proud of you and everything you’re accomplishing!!! #actingvancouver #theactorschapel#actingcoachvancouver #vancouveractor#vancouveractortraining #actorsschool #actor#actingclass #actinglife #actingcoach #actingtheatre#auditions #filmtv #drama #actingtips#actinglessons #actinghelp #actingtools #stageacting #actingoncamera #actress#actingtraining
