I think I found the cure to the winter time blues…& it’s rooted in community. it’s rooted in love having a birthday that falls in the dead of winter means I’m typically in hibernation mode or hopping on a plane somewhere. but this year felt different. this year I stayed. this year I stepped out of my comfort zone and allowed the people I love to show up for me so I gathered my girls and got to give them their flowers, literally and figuratively. turns out the best way to celebrate another year is by pouring back into the people who pour into you truly overwhelmed by the love this season has brought me (I’ve literally sobbed). thank you to people who make my life so beautiful, thank you for the love
