POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

From script notes and editing timelines to the big screen. 🎬

From four weekends of filming in March and April to finishing post-production at the end of August, these six films have been a big part of my first year at Chapman. Last Friday, we got to see them screen for the first time and celebrate with the people who made them happen.

Working as both editor and script supervisor on American Romantic and Miss America meant getting to follow these films from set through the final cut. After months of working with the footage, watching them with an audience was such a rewarding way to close out the process.

My roles across this year’s tenners:

🎞 American Romantic | Dir. Arsenio Salvante
Editor & Script Supervisor

🎞 Miss America | Dir. Yi Dong
Editor & Script Supervisor

🎞 Duende | Dir. Sydney Villa
Assistant Editor

🎞 Lok | Dir. Chenyu (Cy) Yang
Script Supervisor

🎞 Province 7 | Dir. Milan Persia Perry
Assistant Editor & Script Supervisor

🎞 Coquí | Dir. Ricardo Jauregui
Faceless Tourist Extra

Thank you to the directors, casts, and crews who trusted me to be part of these films, on set and in post. And a special shoutout to Delanie and Victoria, my fellow editing girls. So glad we got to celebrate this together.

A few moments from the screening, followed by a look back at where it all started. 🤍
