A window into AURELIA ✨🧡🌞

AURELIA is a celebration of Canada’s Atlantic coast, where ocean, wind, and rugged shorelines have shaped both the landscape and the spirit of its people. Inspired by the region’s rich marine life, enduring coastal traditions, and profound relationship with the sea, the work presents the coast not merely as a setting, but as a living presence that is generous, untamed, and filled with memory ✨🌊🐋⚓️🐚

Through AURELIA, I hope to share not only the beauty of the Atlantic coast, but also its character: bright, wild, poetic, and alive. It is an invitation to reflect, to delight in its colours and rhythms, and to experience the enduring spirit of a place where nature continues to shape everyday life. 🦞🍁

A glimpse into HONOUR 🏔️🌿✨

HONOUR is inspired by First Nations, Inuit, and Métis teachings that carry both deep cultural meaning and universal resonance: respect, connection, reciprocity, and care for the land and for one another. Through these shared values, the work seeks to foster reflection, curiosity, and meaningful connection. It invites us to learn more about Indigenous peoples, their traditions, values, and cultures with sincerity and respect.

I am grateful for the guidance, perspectives, and generous insights shared with me by members of several Indigenous communities and Ms. Tessa Shank whose guidance helped inspire this work.

HONOUR invites reflection on our relationships with one another, the land, memory, and the more-than-human world. It is offered as a gesture of respect to the land, to life, and to the enduring connections that sustain us 💚✨

A first glimpse into VOYAGE 🐻🏔️✨🛶

VOYAGE is inspired by Canada’s vast northern wilderness, where Arctic landscapes, towering mountains, ancient forests, winding rivers, and pristine lakes reveal both the grandeur and quiet power of the natural world. It is a celebration of a land where wilderness shapes identity, inviting us to experience one of Canada’s most extraordinary landscapes through the eyes of its iconic bears. 🐻‍❄️❄️✨

For me, VOYAGE is ultimately about our relationship with nature. It invites us to reflect on coexistence, to rediscover a sense of wonder, and to appreciate the rare privilege of places that remain truly wild. It is my hope that visitors leave not only with memories of Canada’s breathtaking North, but with a deeper appreciation for the wild places that continue to shape Canada 🇨🇦🍁♥️

🌟Over the past year, in partnership with Destination Canada and Le Point, and with the generous support of Artpoint, I began creating a series of worlds born from wonder and shaped by the living, breathing spirit of Canada 🇨🇦♥️

VOYAGE is a journey into the kingdom of bears, from the icy Arctic and northern tundra to the western reaches of the land, celebrating both the grandeur and quiet power of Canada’s wilderness. 🛶🐻🌲

AURELIA is a celebration of Canada’s coasts and maritime spirit, where ocean, wind, rugged shorelines, and the rhythms of the sea have shaped both land and life for generations. 🐋 ✨🦞

HONOUR, developed with guidance from members of the Indigenous community, is a world rooted in First Nations, Inuit and Métis wisdom, honouring teachings that speak to the interconnectedness of all life and our relationship with the natural world. ☀️✨🌿

Together, these worlds reflect Canada as I have come to experience it. Welcome ♥️🇨🇦 I would be honoured for you to experience them! 🍁✨

🌟While visiting London for the premiere of PAYAPA at Outernet, I stopped by “Little Manila” to see one of my titos. As we were enjoying some palabok, I decided to create a little impromptu video inviting my kababayans to come and experience the world in person! ♥️

There was no plan, just a little courage and the kindness of my kababayans. From the wonderful kuyas at Tindahang Pinoy to everyone at Potato Corner, who happily became my camera operators and biggest cheerleaders for the day. 🥹🤗

Maraming salamat Tito Fred, Kuya Rommel, Kuya Bernie and Kuya JR who helped bring this funny London adventure to life. 💛🥳✨

Storytelling is not only about what is created, it is about how it is experienced.

I am honoured to have participated in the Annual Meeting of the New Champions (#AMNC26, Summer Davos) in Dalian, China, as a Cultural Leader, where I delivered “Algorithmic Storytelling”.

I shared how advanced algorithmic tools are transforming spaces into places where technology and human stories meet, opening new possibilities for creativity, connection, and meaning.

Algorithmic tools and AI are expanding the ways in which we tell stories, but the meaning still comes from our humanity and lived experiences. I create digital worlds that can be encountered spatially, they are worlds we step into, move through, and experience together.

MOMENTUM takes you on a journey through the past, present, and future: inviting you to reflect and reimagine what lies ahead. Here, renewal and progress are captured in a vibrant, dynamic environment.

I am honoured to participate as a Cultural Leader at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions (#AMNC26), exploring how we bridge heritage and innovation.

Created in partnership with the @worldeconomicforum and the team at @augmento_ar , featuring @wesimmersive , @remy.dubai and their team, MOMENTUM is an immersive, interactive world inspired by the Lunar New Year and the arrival of the Year of the Horse. Using a distinct red palette symbolizing fire and transformation, the work reflects themes traditionally associated with the horse: energy, determination, progress, and forward movement.

As you step inside, you’ll encounter interactive flowers and plants that respond to your presence. You’ll see the landscape come alive with roaming horses, floating lanterns, drifting clouds, and butterflies - elements you can discover and weave into your own surroundings.

MOMENTUM moves you as you move through it, beautifully embodying a perspective shared by Joseph Fowler (@jfwef ), Head of Arts & Culture at the World Economic Forum, in his article on the Beyond the Frame exhibition: “Transformation is not something we observe from a distance, but something we enact.”

MOMENTUM intertwines heritage with innovation, the past with the future, and art with technology.

In a few days I will be participating in the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian, China.

Throughout my practice, I have been interested in the intersection of art, technology, and human experience. I believe that when creativity and innovation are placed in service of people, they have the power to inspire wonder, foster connection, and create moments of shared understanding across cultures.

I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this global dialogue and look forward to sharing this journey with you!
