Change your mindset from:

“I’m scared to walk into that room full of accomplished women because I don’t know if I’m qualified”

to

“I’m qualified to be here. I am going to make it my business to engage with and connect to women who are where I want to go.”

On our Confidence in Your Ideas panel at our Self Made Mujer Conference, Journalist & Speaker @victorialeandra shared how she intentionally networked her way to where she is today.

What do you do to work on your networking skills?

¡Mi gente! ✨ It's that time of the year where everyone sits down and creates a list of things they'd like to accomplish in the new year. But let's be honest, did that really work for you this past year? New year's resolutions (without a proper action plan) are difficult to accomplish. Usually, January is off to a great start but then we slowly forget about what we really wanted to achieve as the initial motivation fades away. Don't let that happen to you in 2022! In this 15-min special episode of @eladnpodcast, allow me to walk you through my goal-setting process and the secret that fully shifted my mindset.

We want to hear from you after completing the exercise! Send us a DM or tag @eladnpodcast + @victorialeandra on your IG story for a chance to be reposted. Our team wishes you an amazing year ahead filled with health, love, success, wealth and rest! ✨🤍 LISTEN NOW on your favorite streaming platform, including Spotify + Apple Podcasts 🎧

Today, Alicia is one of the most respected #Latina journalists in the US media, she’s the author of The Likeability Trap and the creator and host of Latina to Latina podcast. Last week I posted a short video about the electricity crisis Puerto Rico is facing. One of my followers in this community reached out to tell me about the medical struggles her 64-year-old sister was faced with due to the power outages in the island so we decided to dig deeper. Our full report of the situation that includes interviews with LUMA Energy and UTIER President, formerly of AEE, is OUT NOW — go watch the video on @floricuas 🇵🇷 This is why I love digital and social-first journalism ♥️🎥: @mivett1

🚨ESTA NOCHE🚨 Join me on @floricuas Instagram LIVE for a conversation with @alexandralugaro and Annie Mayol from #FoundationForPuertoRico. We’ll be discussing #AlexandraLugaro’s retirement from #politics and her new endeavors as @foundationforpr’s Exec. Director and Policy Leader at the Center for Strategic Innovation in #PuertoRico 🇵🇷 #Lúgaro made history in 2016 as the island’s first #female independent candidate, resulting in an unprecedented percentage of votes landing her the third place in polls. In the 2020 gubernatorial race, she led the new #movimientovictoriaciudadana party, a party that made #history in many ways: occupying seats in both the national and municipal legislatures and achieving a historic feat in #SanJuan’s mayoral race. 💯
