I know families are doing it tough right now.

I'm proud to be part of a Labor government that has a plan to ease the cost of living pressures facing Australians.

Whether it's cheaper child care or energy price relief, our 10 point plan is saving household budgets without adding to inflation.

Robbie’s been living out his post office dog dreams, helping mail out reminders that it’s the final month to claim your $250 Power Saving Bonus.

It only takes 5 - 10 minutes to apply online at: bit.ly/psb23new (I've popped a link in my bio).

Visit my office in Gisborne or your local Neighbourhood House with a copy of your electricity bill for help applying.

This week, back in 1990, Joan Kirner became the first woman to serve as Premier of Victoria.

She was mentor and inspiration to me - and to so many women determined to fight every day for fairness.

Some are pictured right here.

Swipe for a couple of great pics from the archives @emilyslistaus

Reflecting on the words from my first speech today as Australians head to the polls.

“We are building a nation that protects and invests in its children and grandchildren; a nation that is grounded in truth, integrity, equality, fairness, compassion and action; a nation courageous enough to recognise its past and determined enough to change its future; a nation that we can all be proud of.” July 2022

My hope is that today gets us one step closer to that vision.

Terrific to be in sunny Brisbane for the #australianlaborparty National Conference catching up with old mates and making new ones.

It is so great to have a Federal #labor Government that is #workingforaustralia - and working with #victoria

Progressive, intelligent, compassionate, thoughtful, so many good words come to mind when thinking about @jacintaallanmp . The next Premier of Victoria!
.
I won’t forget that as Deputy Premier in the state election, she called me just to check in. Whilst she was so busy campaigning around the state, she wanted to see how I and our small budget campaign was going. That small chat, energised me even further for days.
.
When people tell me that they don’t trust politicians, I direct them to representatives like Jacinta to light the way.
.
I’m so excited for Victoria under her leadership.

Thank you, Dan.

You always stood strong for us.

Be it through flood, fire, or a once in a lifetime pandemic.

Every day, you stood up for fairness, diversity, equality, and doing what matters for every Victorian.

With your leadership, we've seen unprecedented investment in our schools, healthcare, transport, and job-creating projects.

Led the nation with Victoria's Treaty process.

And made landmark reforms for mental health, to end family violence, and transform women's healthcare.

Just to name a few.

We've spent a lot of time together over the years, and you never let an opportunity to thank a teacher, nurse, or ambo go by.

It's been an honour to work with you in delivering for our community here in Macedon and the people of Victoria.

Thank you for all you have done for our great state.

Wishing you, Cath, and the kids, all the very best.

I'm honoured to continue to serve as Minister for Health and Minister for Health Infrastructure.

Today I was also sworn in as Minister for Ambulance Services in the Jacinta Allan Labor Government.

Working with our nurses, ambos, doctors, dentists, allied healthcare workers, cooks, cleaners, and ward clerks is a huge privilege.

And I'll continue to work hard every day to strengthen our health system in addition to proudly representing the great people of Macedon.
