One of the biggest aspects of a period piece, even filmmaking in general, is the art department.
How can you transport viewers to the time and place where your story exists, when it is so visually specific? This is where my fabulous art department comes in. So many hands were involved in building the story setting we needed, from costumes, to props, to SFX builds.

Wardrobe Designer @victoriaolson4162
Hair /Makeup Artist @selenophili.c ,
Assistant Set Dressers @johnisha.fm @erafilmz, Josh, Prop Painter Ed Friedlander

Additional shout out to @behindthescenestheatricalsllc and FAU’s theatre department for lending costumes
and props to the production, and of course the @samplemcdougaldhouse as being a centerpiece for location.

Here is also a reminder that for the WIP screening, dressing up according to the time period (victorian/edwardian) and celestial shift of the sun/moon/starts is encouraged! Get your ticket before its too late! Bit.ly/seekoresh

Also thank you all who supported the @seedandspark campaign, as the funds you contributed went straight towards these items in the budget!

Last Days of Koreshan
Inspired by a True Florida Story...
Synopsis: It’s 1908: Cyrus Teed, aka Koresh, leader of the egalitarian, socialist, and celibate commune Koreshan Unity, has uttered his last breath. Fortunately for him and his followers, salvation is upon them when his soul is transferred into the body of his platonic co-leader Victoria Gratia. Unfortunately for the Koreshans, his teachings haven’t made clear when that will be. As they wait for Victoria’s arrival, Teed’s sister and most devoted follower, Emma must lead the community in prayer while his body lies on display in a bathtub—testing time, her faith, and notions of mortality.

Grateful to join the @browarddemocrats Presidents’ Council of Democratic Clubs & Caucuses to talk about growing year-round voter contact.

Clubs and caucuses across Broward are stepping up to host phonebanks for our upcoming @fladems Weekends of Action—helping re-enroll Democrats in Vote-by-Mail.

Had a fantastic time connecting with old friends and meeting new ones at the @browarddemocrats Holiday Gathering. We had great conversations about the importance of year-round organizing, and everyone shared amazing ideas for making it work in their unique areas of the county.

Congratulations to all the newly elected State Committee Members!
