Yesterday I took home 90kg Open Champion, 90kg Submasters Champion, and Tested Overall Best Lifter.

The Overall award was a complete surprise. I never paid much attention to the scoreboard because I had one goal going into this meet: break into the 1400s. I went 8 for 9, hit a lifetime PR total, and left everything I had on the platform.

One of the best parts of the day was getting to compete alongside my girlfriend, Kristen. She set records, won her class, and even beat me on DOTS. Safe to say she’s ridiculously strong.

A huge thank you to Cam for stepping in these last four weeks and helping me get exactly where I needed to be. Your guidance, adjustments, and confidence helped me perform at a level I’ve never reached before.

Another big thank you to Jon for pushing me every week in the gym, keeping me accountable, handling lift-offs on meet day, and making sure I had everything I needed to focus on lifting.

To everyone who supported me through this prep, cheered me on, and believed in me—thank you. This one means a lot.

1400+ achieved. The work continues. 💪🏽🏆

$>{ Dark Iron Meet done}< -S: 430 -B:287 -D:540 Got 2nd place in Men’s Open overall Junior. I didn’t quite hit the top numbers I desired but that was because of a few mistakes on my part. However I am optimistic and I did make around a 50+ increase on my total overall, so I am pleased with that. The goal now is a long and grueling off season were I will grow stronger to be a bigger lifter, stronger but most importantly more intelligent. All in all it was a tremendous success of a meet. As for my @reps_and_sets_of_adairsville crew they did absolutely amazing! Everyone put as much work in as the other and hit massive PRs! For those who this was their first meet, WELL DONE YOU ALL KILLED IT. - As for our coach @ajones1782 He has broken nothing but sweat and blood for this sport and put that same effort into all of us. He is a true legend of a man, friend and coach as he has his seasoned knowledge instilled into all of us to make us better lifters in this sport! - As for @retro_lord_ my brother, TB and best friend, nuralink tube twin he did my nutrition for this meet to make me a TANK and he did so. He also taught me the art of nutrition and how important it is within strength training or any kind for that matter. Love you brother 🤝 - #powerlifting #uspapowerlifting #strengthtraining #tank #vordtoftheborealvalley$
