📀💿📀 :: OUT NOW :: 💿📀💿 🥳 It’s official: After three years in the making, my second solo album is finally done and out: Starting today, it’s available on all streaming platforms worldwide and in the shops in Germany! 📻 🛒
🏍️ It’s been a wild ride: The first idea germinating in the months after the publication of my previous album „ain’t nuthin’ but fairy dust“ in early 2022, the process initiated in 2023, and then started an odyssey of fundraising, organising, travelling, recording, editing, mixing, writing, translating, devising, designing, proof-reading, proof-hearing, consulting, doubting, deciding, obsessing, and eventually… getting it done 🤣 🏁
💫 Needless to say that this has been a very important project for me, not only gathering a specific set of very personal pieces written over a span of 15 years, but also involving artists that I’ve been sharing my musical journey with along all those years and that I’m lucky enough to be able call my friends 🫶 This album owes its existence not only to their musical prowess and talent, but also to their shared dedication and support in the most diverse ways, which makes it feel even more personal since it brings together so many different threads spun over the years, musical or otherwise. In this sense it is also dedicated to them and the privilege it is to grow up together artistically. 🪢
🙏 Huge shout out also to the tech crew behind it, @pablogarreton, #lukasnowok, @javiermunozbravo_composer, @necrotrance and @stephan.schmidt12, #dirkwieschollek for his beautiful text, the label #wergo and @ircam_paris, and the countless people who have helped in ways they maybe didn’t even realize at the time – the (probably still not) complete list can be found in the CD booklet. 📖 🥲

🙏🙏 Special thanks for all the participants of my 2024 crowdfunding campaign „rosebud 2.0“ without which none of this would have been possible, and all the institutions supporting both the album production itself as well as the video clip accompanying it.

ABWARTEN ☁️🌚
Jeudi 5 mars, 19h @salle_oesia ✨🌬️
