Last Night 🖤🤍

Every time I’m overwhelmed, overloaded, no energy, ready to quit and looking for an exit I hear a voice … you were made for this … this is who you are. Last night that voice came from my mother as I sat coloring in the floor with 3 year olds. Dress Rehearsal was a bust, I cried in frustration at myself for being under prepared, beat my self up the whole way home. I let every one down it was mad confusion everywhere .I would fix it I had too… mom called me when I got home to encourage me .. it was great Nicole blah blah .. I hurried off the phone I had papers to print and systems to figure out. I went to bed at 12am woke up at 5am worked some more.. mom ask me when she saw me at the theater if I was ready (she knew it would be great) I brushed her off I didn’t need a distraction… 45 min before the show little and bigs start coming in … the itty bitty ballerinas seemed a little scared so lollipops & coloring it was… time passed and mom came back by me it’s time to start the show ( I had been coloring for 45min) i looked up and she said “this is where you belong this is where you thrive” I heard her this time. There may be Bigger and better places out there but being just Victory is me & that’s who I am. Coloring , wiping tears and telling girls no matter how talented, they are stars ⭐️ because they are to me, each and every one of them.
