Making Miss Mogul started as a simple idea. Now, we are editing magazine number four and we’ve collaborated with fantastic businesses, gained support from @livemcrnews and BBC Radio Lancashire, created an online community of creatives, designed merchandise and have a fully functioning website where you can read each magazine as a flip book or as separate articles.

We have video content in the pipeline and did someone say quizzes? 🤫

Happy International Women’s Day 👩🏻‍💻✨💪🏼💗

This IWD I hope we learn and realise just how powerful and strong we really are. Being surrounding by so many incredible females on this page, from business owners, to educators to influencers is such a blessing and I am so grateful for this little community of positivity and bravery ⚡️

I recently listened to a TED Talk by @reshmasaujani who highlighted that girls have been socialised to be perfectionists, to only apply and try if they could make it perfect, whilst boys have been raised to take risks, to learn to fail, and to rise again. This bravery deficit has led to women not feeling confident enough in applying to certain jobs, challenging themselves and taking that risk.

As a self-taught designer currently studying a marketing degree, my whole business is a risk. I take on jobs that I’m unsure how to animate because I know I will find a way to figure it out. So, here’s a nudge to those women contemplating starting something new, there will be no epiphany moment, but you can’t lose anything by taking that risk.

And just like that I’ve been on YouTube for ONE WHOLE YEAR!!
I don’t even know where to begin😱 I am so grateful to every single one of you that supports me over on my YouTube channel. To think this time last year I was too scared to post a video and I was worried about what people would say/think is crazy to me now. I am so so proud of myself for everything I’ve achieved so far and I am so glad I finally bit the bullet and just went for it. I can’t believe how far I have come in the past year and sometimes it feels like a dream come true! Thank you so much to everyone that has helped me get one step closer to my dream. In the past year I have worked with some amazing brands and I already have some lined up for 2021✨ and it wouldn’t be possible without everyone that watches my videos❤️ it’s unbelievable that I am being paid to do something I love!! I also want to say a massive thank you to @videoeditor.em who gave me the YouTube glow up I needed😅🥰 here’s to one year on YouTube and many more....
