@sevenstarsfest Zodiac Stage!
Truly honored and excited to be back piloting the Zodiac Stage visuals for a second year!
A little look back at last year, including some footage I’d almost forgotten about. Watching it again has me stoked to get behind the new controls.

I’ve got so many more looks ready for this year, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the crew is bringing. The beautiful monsters behind this stage’s design, build, management, and operation already set the bar high—and all we know how to do is push it further.

I’m bringing a mix of new tricks, old favorites, and some real throwback ways to fire them. Wii are gonna have so much fun!

You only live once (one per life token per gamelplay).
Do the things you want to do with people who inspire you to do them better.
Huge thanks to @videometry for having me out again, to @phntm and @quadruppel , and to @glcmgt for designing this beast with so many creative possibilities. My favorite stage I ran last year hands down.

@sevenstarsfest, here we come! #sevenstars #livevisuals #resolume

Kudos to everyone involved in planning IllumiNATION at @virginiahistory this weekend. Worth the wait, the planning and opportunity to share 250 Years of history via Art and many innovative talents in #RVA. @bioritmomusic was the perfect band for opening night. Thanks! @videometry #landofdreams #illumiNATION #dustinklein #alexcriqui

The sweetest homiest hometown throwdown my goodnessss 🤗🥰🙏 How wonderful to be back in the trees at @pisgahbrewing ~ I had one of my first art shows in the taproom here almost 20 years ago~ ✨We love you @papadosio !!! ✨ The community you’ve cultivated all these years is the absolute sweetest group of humans, Thank you so much for always setting an example of supporting the visual arts and bringing together so many of my favorite people! Trust in the magic of these ol Appalachian Mountains, the connection of this community ripples out so much goodness into the world🌏❤️🌿✨Imagine how earth would be if everyone had a healthy outlet of Art, Music, and dancing in the woods with the people they love 🥹

Thanks for coming to FLOW
Here’s a recap video from the event.
Yemaya showed up in spirit as rain Friday, so we respectfully pushed the event forward by a day to Saturday. What followed was a cold but beautiful night filled with art, music, projection, community, and even pie.

Guest vocals by Zye
Mural: The Blackwell Drip (2020)
Created by @chrisvisions @heidetrepanier and @colehicks_ as part of @mendingwallsrva
Contributors:

– Elk installation and footage by @rcriqui
– Projection mapping, video footage, and edit by @videometry visuals
– Coloring book design by @sillygenius
– Drawings crowdsourced by @collaborativearts and remixed by Videometry

We’re already thinking about what comes next.
Where should we bring the next mural mapping or digital community mural?
Let us know if there’s a wall or space you’d like to see lit up.
