I’m finally getting closure on my 2025, Elk hunt. Long story short I had a screw back out on my action, made a chip shot at 200 yards and hit him back. There was no shortage of hours, miles spent searching for him and sleepless nights wondering where the heck he ended up. I put the word out about the location and details on the bull hoping someone would run across him dead or alive. Fast forward to Sunday night I get a phone call that the legend @bridger_smith7 ran across his final resting place. Bridger knew exactly what bull he was and started making calls. Says alot about a guy to come across a great bull, make the decision to pack him out of a disgusting canyon to help me close that chapter. Completely selfless, and hands down a stand up guy. 👊🏽 Again, thankyou everyone who played a roll in this bull. Obviously it’s bitter sweet. I wish I could’ve packed him out that night with the boys on the horses but shit happens.

Spend 9 out of the last 10 day on the mountain looking for the right bulls. We put eyes on over 120 bulls and had countless opportunities, Got down on the gun a few times and Even though I did not punch my tag. This was hands down the best time I’ve ever had in the hills. Watching @ryken11 & @kaitlin_vigil slam some studs and @zjvigil teaching me real Cowboy shit and honestly the most genuine friendship.
Zach Single handily made this all possible. Love you brother! It’ll never be forgotten.
I’ve never had so many people reach out to me and offer their help. And a HUGE Thankyou to each and every one of you!
But most of all none of this would’ve happened if it wasn’t for Sarah carrying so much and being a single parent for basically those 10 days. I owe you the world @sarahm.cook I love you & THANKYOU
