Local Tāmaki punks will be holding an anarchic Vigil at Full Noise this year. Through its observance, we can shake the structures of tyranny and oppression to their very core! No gods, no masters, no capitalism! (Unless you are in Mr Jones class, then stop slacking off and get back to work on your assignment!!)

FULL NOISE KAUPAPA

Full Noise is a DIY Hardcore Punk Festival run by the Plebiscite crew for the love of the music, and to hold a space for the Aotearoa Punk community in Tāmaki. Therefore we want Full Noise to be an inclusive space for all attending and have zero tolerance for Violence, Sexism, Racism, Transphobia, Homophobia or behaviour that hurts or marginalises others. We also want to keep this festival as accessible as possible in other ways by keeping it as affordable for everyone to attend and free for the “Under 18” crowd. The Mt Roskill War Memorial Hall also has wheelchair access if needed. Full Noise is an ALL AGES event which means no drugs or alcohol is to be consumed at the festival please.

THURSDAY: DEATHRO (JAPAN), DISPLEASURE, DEB5000, VIGIL

Beloved by the Tokyo punk underground, DEATHRO combines new wave, post-punk, and J-Rock into high-energy BEATROCK in the 1980’s Japanese tradition. DEATHRO’s performance is ecstatic and powerful, while the lyrics are grounded in working class politics. Amongst messages of solidarity, freedom of expression, and love for his hometown Kanagawa, DEATHRO tackles the injustice of colonisation and the oppression of the Palestinian people. DEATHRO has a punk mind and expresses it.

This might well be the only time DEATHRO visits our part of the world, so do not miss out. There are only a handful of tickets left over on @undertheradarnz
