✨ Benefactor Spotlight ✨

As a woman-owned interior design firm, Viibe is proud to support IIDA Carolinas as a Benefactor and to contribute to a community that champions connection, leadership, and the impact of interior design.
Our commitment to the design community extends beyond our studio. Shelbi serves as a Co-Director of the Triad City Center, helping foster meaningful connections and opportunities for designers throughout our region. We’re grateful to share a glimpse of our recent work - projects shaped by collaboration, thoughtful design, and the belief that the spaces we create have the power to positively influence the people and communities they serve.
Thank you to IIDA Carolinas for cultivating a community where designers can learn, lead, and grow together. We’re proud to be part of it.

2025: A Year of Renewal and Creative Momentum
When M&A Design Studio opened its doors in early 2025, it marked more than a new location—it signaled renewal and a move forward with purpose. The space became a sanctuary where creativity met wellness, and community flourished through shared experiences. It reminded me that creativity and imagination have no boundaries, and life is an adventure.
Throughout the year, workshops transformed from simple classes into journeys of self-discovery. Participants didn’t just learn techniques; they rediscovered themselves through mindful art creation, botanical design, and wellness sessions. We knew that our actual value wasn’t in what we created, but in how we made people feel. The smile after completing a custom frame, terrarium, kokedama, or other DIY project; the exhale during a digital detox session; the connection found in community gatherings—these became our measure of success. We weren’t promoting workshops; we were selling the peace, confidence, and joy that followed each experience

“Nature is the Physician of diseases.” Hippocrates. Creating art is not for the weak of heart. This project was finally installed with a long process of collaboration, patience and persistence. The natural materials all contribute to healing and medicines, willow, eucalyptus, lotus pods, and of course various moss species. My sincere gratitude to my collaborators, referrals and mutual expertise. Woodworking; custom live edge frames and installation #gibbonswoodworkinganddesign, collaborative referral #viibedesign, installation location #atriumwakeforestschoolofmedicine downtown Winston-Salem.

🪩 Today’s midday flow at @synergywsnc was a chance to press P A U S E on busy work days, looming deadlines, and swirling minds. As our instructor, @suzie_vinograd reminded us the “progress is made in the pause.” ✨

Huge thank you to our sponsors @synergywsnc + @villagejuice who made today possible! 💫

On a personal note— I am so grateful for this group of women who continue to choose community over competition month after month. It is so rare to find this and I am so thankful for it! - Julia ❤️

Located just past the main entrance, the suites feature modular lounge seating, generous buffet and bar areas, bold pendant lighting, playful wall color blocking, and spirited Wake Forest graphics – all curated to elevate the fan experience while celebrating Wake Forest pride.

As a respected partner of Wake Forest Sports Properties, Viibe is proud to be reimagining how fans of all ages interact with the built environment at The Joel. The expectations around the college athletics experience are evolving, and we’re on the front lines doing our part to meet and exceed them. This project is a modern take on tradition – intentionally designed for connection, celebration, and game-day energy.

We’re especially proud that the partners who helped bring this vision to life have deep ties to Wake Forest University, the Winston-Salem community, and the region – a collaboration that supports WFU’s sustainability goals and minimizes environmental impact through local sourcing and partnerships.

And the best part? The WFSP suite at McCreary Tower is in the works – and we can’t WAIT to reveal that transformation this fall!

A huge thank you to the partners who made this happen:
