When I tell you Louisiana showed up and showed out for their Saints! 🤣 It was funny because Suntrana thought she was gonna get heat for wearing her Saints gear amongst all of the Ravens in purple but just like that, there was a sea of Saints fans that jumped on the train. It was a whole vibe from the light rail ride to the stadium and throughout the game! It got real intense but the Saints beat the Ravens in the end! You can take the girl out of Louisiana but you can't take Louisiana out of the girl! ⚜️ Loved seeing her so overjoyed! Now if only I can get her to stop saying 🗣 "Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?!" the rest of the night. 😫 Heck! The rest of the week! 🥴 🤣

MOMENT OF TRANSPARENCY: I felt gorgeous yesterday. 😍 Why is this a moment of transparency? Because most days I don't. What often happens is I look in the mirror and walk out the door confident but then.... I see myself in pictures and I never look the way I saw myself looking in the mirror. I then start negative self talking. I'm horrified. "Oh my God. Is that what you look like? Is that what other people are seeing?"😱 People have no idea that while I'm smiling in public, I'm having an entire conversation with myself on the inside.

So many people joke about how "big girls" tend to take selfies or pictures from the chest up. Yes we do and the reason why isn't laughable. We often hear phrases like "You've got such a pretty face" or "You're pretty for a big girl". And most people don’t realize weight may reflect trauma. (That's a deeper post I will share one day.) Often times we are ashamed of the rest of our body so we "hide" it in photos. We bury it in clothes. We stand behind people in pictures. Some times we don't share photos from meaningful moments all together... (This is why I haven't posted pictures from my surprise birthday party and proposal.... I will soon. I know. 💗)

Yesterday was a good day for me. Not only did I feel good looking back at all the pictures I took, I also asked Suntrana to take full body pictures of me! I rarely ask her to do that. 🥴 Actually, she loves taking pictures of me and I always complain. Lol She always wants full length pics of me. I hate taking those. 😫 I told her God has a sense of humor because we were paired up. My insecurities are the things she finds beautiful and always wants to capture which often makes me uncomfortable. I lover her deeply. 💕 The funny thing is, she has truly made me love me more and step outside of my comfort. She encourages me to embrace myself from the top of my kinks and curls to the tips of my toes. (True story. I used to hate my feet and wearing them out but now I stay in an open toe shoe. 🤣💜)

As for the dress I wore last night...CONTINUED IN COMMENTS ⬇️ #plussizeblogger #plussizebeauty #reels #instagood #explorepage

Went to the Mystics vs. Lynx game last night with my loves! 💜 Had a so much fun although the Mystics lost 84 to 94. 😫 It was an intense game and both teams put in work. Shoutout to Shakira Austin! She is that girl! I will say Olivia Miles is a beast! So glad we got to see her play. And the icing on the cake? We got a pic with Pax the Panda at the end! 🐼 💕Such a cutie! Lol 🌻 Support the WNBA! 🏀💪🏾
