This photoshoot came with so many hiccups, last-minute changes, and location switches… and somehow that’s exactly how “rainboots, but make it Vogue” happened. 😂

It started as just a concept in my head, and everyone absolutely KILLED it. I love seeing an idea turn into something even better once every creative adds their own touch. 🖤

I’ve been hesitant to post here, and if I’m honest, I’ve been trying to figure out what comes next.

Fashion With Purpose took nine months of planning, energy, faith, and a lot of heart. I’m proud of what we created—and I also feel the weight of how much work it takes to keep it moving.

Starting in November, I’ll be working a job that helps cover the bills. I’m also going to keep building my modeling portfolio, because I want to pursue more paid work and direct what I can toward Fashion With Purpose.

I don’t have every next step mapped out yet. For now, it looks like sharing the mission again, reaching out to the right people, and continuing to build this carefully—one connection and one opportunity at a time.

The purpose hasn’t changed: helping bring basic first-aid supplies and education to children in Uganda’s mountain villages.

If this mission speaks to you, please share this with someone who might want to learn more or get involved. We’re still here. I’m still here. I’m finding my way back.

Something new for Creative Corner ♟️

I usually don’t announce our photoshoots publicly, but I’m changing things up a little! From time to time, I’ll be opening select Creative Corner concepts to other creatives who want to join us.

My goal with Creative Corner has always been to step away from the usual formal, work-focused environment and create a space where we can experiment, play, and make something different IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT.

For our Halloween/October concept we are doing something special. A Chess editorial called The Queen’s Gambit, we’re taking that creativity into a more polished, fashion-editorial direction. ♟️

We already have 4 photographers secured and another new addition: professional makeup is available as an optional add-on. For this particular concept, I would LOVE to see strong, editorial quality makeup to complete the look. If you’re interested, I’ve arranged the opportunity for a group rate with one of the best MUAs I know. Makeup is completely optional, but highly encouraged if you want the full editorial experience.

Location: Salt Lake County
Calendar: Friday, October 23
Time: 5:00–6:30 PM with an option to continue the shoot at a second location
♟️ Location + props included
