Who knew our 100-foot ace challenge at #unchained25 would take someone all the way from Ukraine to finally cash in? What a moment! 🇺🇦❤️

Unchained Conference 2025 ✝️💜
@eagleswingsdiscgolf

This was such an incredible weekend full of love, friends and so much laughter. I’m so thankful to have been a part of it. Making new friends, growing existing friendships and growing even stronger in my faith.

Such great sessions on the course and in the classrooms! Incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to experience this amazing weekend. Thankyou Jesus!

WOW. Just….WOW.

If you had asked me 3 years ago if I’d ever find a fulfilling role in disc golf ministry, I’d say no. I’ve been playing disc golf for 18 years and for most of that, looking for ways to serve the Kingdom with it. 2 years ago I met Dustin and Zach with @eagleswingsdiscgolf and the rest is history. This was my third Unchained Conference and my first as the assistant conference director. Here’s 3 key takeaways from the event:

1. God is moving in disc golf. This event had 145 people last year and 201 this year. Each of those players has been equipped and charged with taking their ministry to the course and challenged to pass the baton to a disciple this year.

2. This Eagles Wings community has become like family. People I only see 1-2 times per year in person have become some of my best friends and my closest confidants.

3. With a whole Ukrainian family there with their gracious friend (who payed to attend just so he could interpret for them), I’ve learned what we’re doing here is being replicated in other parts of the world. We may not speak the same language, but we play the same sport and we serve the same God.

Thank you to @hunterthomas_fdg and @trevstaub for MCing this weekend, thanks to all of our speakers who gave up time and talent, thanks to @camp_keystone for hosting us, thanks to the Team Eagles Wings pros for pouring into attendees both on the course and around the fire pits, thanks to our sponsors @yeetstreetdiscs, @discraftdiscgolf, @latitude_64, @pushtherock_, @discindisciples, @powerdga, and @ledgestonediscgolf, thanks to @cochran_productions for spending 4 days shooting incredible photo and video, and thanks to all the behind-the-scenes staff and volunteers who gave up so much to make this event a success. Let’s do it again next year!

«1st Annual Stinger sponsored by Lone Star Disc»
