-Sun cross-

The Norse saw life as a path traced upon the great tree, Yggdrasil. Fate bound gods and men alike, and even Odin’s wisdom could not unmake what was woven. The sun cross, carved on wood or stone, held their vision: the circle of the world, the turning of the seasons, the four winds meeting at the heart.

It taught that life moves in cycles — light and dark, birth and death, loss and renewal. No man could escape his doom, yet he could meet it with honor. To live bravely, to give generously, and to let one’s deeds shine beyond death — this was the true victory.

The circle promised that even when the world fell at Ragnarök, it would rise again.

In the Viking age, togetherness was both freedom and bond. Two souls stood as ship and rudder—separate yet incomplete apart. Love meant enduring absence, guarding the fire, and trusting fate. Like fire and ice, it was fragile yet eternal: not possession, but the will to remain two and still be one.

In the Viking spirit, love was both storm and anchor. Two souls stood like oak trees, rooted apart yet bound beneath the earth. It was freedom and belonging at once, longing and return. Like fire and ice, their bond was fragile yet eternal—a saga of passion, sacrifice, and fate.

Bueskydningsaktiviteten

The last few years I have experimented with different historical games and activities.

It is super fun to have some activities with me on Viking markets to activate, inspire and give me the possibility to interact with anyone and everyone.

The ability to hit a target is something that we humans have been doing for so long that we have an instinctive ability send a boll or/and a projective (like an arrow) and hit a target, with minimum training, that can help us survive. It is fun for all ages and strengthens the “marksmanship ability”/“kognitive færdigheder”

I make it so people can try one of my bows and arrows or can make your own from willow branches and cords.

It is fun to do and observe.

Please remember to give back to nature🙏🏼🧮🧠❤️🌟

“Skær en ske” / “Make a spoon”

The last few years I have experimented with different historical games and activities.

It is super fun to have some activities with me on Viking markets to activate, inspire and give me the possibility to interact with anyone and everyone.

Historically we humans have used cutlery/“bestik” for thousands of years.
It can be made out of most things, but wood is a godt material for it.

I bring wood and knives that you can try/buy and make your own spoon. It takes time and patience, and gives you or/and your child the ability to use a tool like a knife in “the right way”. For security purposes I only hand out knives to adults, but at my job in a kinder garden I know that children can be trusted to carve with a knife from 3-4 years of age. It is a exercise for both child and parent to carve from instructions and to let a child “do it themselves”👐 and learn (selvhjulpenhed)🧠👍🏼🌟😊

Please remember to give back to nature🙏🏼🧮🧠❤️🌟

Vikingernes skak/Hnefatafl/viking Chess

The last few years I have experimented with different historical games and activities.

It is super fun to have some activities with me on Viking markets to activate, inspire and give me the possibility to interact with anyone and everyone.

The vikings had their own kind of chess called Hnefatafl that I bring with me to most markets. It engages your strategical and problem solving abilities and makes a fun competitive game. It is fun to do and observe.

Please remember to give back to nature🙏🏼🧮🧠❤️🌟

Kast en mønt / Throw a coin🪙

The last few years I have experimented with different historical games and activities.

It is super fun to have some activities with me on Viking markets to activate, inspire and give me the possibility to interact with anyone and everyone.

Kast en mønt is a low practical and fun game for all ages

The ability to hit a target is something that we humans have been doing for so long that we have an instinctive ability send a boll or/and a coin and hit a target, with minimum training, that can help us survive. It is fun for all ages and strengthens the “marksmanship ability”/“kognitive færdigheder”
