Goal: Back on the Rugby Pitch πŸ‰πŸ“ˆ Great having @oli__morgan6 , hooker for @vikingsrl down at Forge following a nasty lateral ankle sprain sustained in the final game of the season! πŸ‰ Despite initially managing the injury himself, Oli was still experiencing swelling, reduced ankle mobility and difficulty with sprinting and acceleration. On Assessment πŸ” Following a thorough injury assessment and objective testing, our findings were consistent with a significant lateral ankle sprain involving the ATFL and CFL ligaments. We identified several key issues: ❌ Persistent lateral ankle swelling ❌ Restricted ankle mobility, particularly inversion ❌ Reduced ankle inversion strength (16% deficit) ❌ Increased ligamentous laxity on anterior drawer testing ❌ Reduced single-leg stability and confidence With this being Oli’s third sprain to the same ankle, restoring strength, stability and reducing the risk of reinjury are major priorities. The Rehab Plan πŸ“ˆ We’ve started hands-on treatment and progressive rehabilitation focusing on restoring mobility, improving ankle strength and rebuilding dynamic stability. With preseason approaching, the aim is to get Oli back sprinting, changing direction and performing confidently on the rugby pitch! πŸ’ͺ Looking forward to reassessing his progress at his next session! πŸ“ Forge Injury & Performance β€” Chadderton, Oldham Struggling with a recurring ankle injury? I LOVE Super League. I LOVE Leeds. πŸ’™πŸ’› But the Championship has a special place in my heart. β€οΈπŸ‰ The old-school grounds. The volunteers. The characters. The history. The communities. From the pies at Rochdale and Swinton πŸ₯§, to the incredible atmosphere at Halifax, the history at Widnes and the uniqueness of Midlands Hurricanes… This is Rugby League in its purest form. Big forwards. Fast wingers. Proper battles. And fans who live and breathe their clubs. The Championship might not get the same attention as Super League, but it deserves so much more love and respect. What do you love most about the Championship? πŸ‘‡ #RugbyLeague #BetfredChampionship #SuperLeague #RugbyLeagueFamily #RugbyLeagueFans RLCommunity LoveRugbyLeague

πŸ”₯ THE BETFRED CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY-OFF PICTURE! πŸ”₯ The Championship table is really starting to take shape β€” and with the Top 10 qualifying for the play-offs, there is still plenty to play for right across the division. The new 10-team play-off system means finishing as high as possible is absolutely crucial. The teams at the top will have more room for error, while those battling around 8th–10th know every result could make the difference. πŸ† Top 10 = Play-offs ⬆️ The higher you finish, the better your route πŸ”₯ Huge battles developing for those final play-off places πŸ’₯ And with the Grand Final coming in October, the Championship is heading towards a massive finish! Who do you fancy to make the Top 10? And who is your favourite for promotion? #RugbyLeague #BetfredChampionship #ChampionshipRL #RugbyLeagueFans #PlayOffs SuperLeagueRaw
