My 10th and final show with ropa! Looking back to freshman year i never would have thought i would love watching these people and this program grow so much. From backstage gossip to late night set painting to the literal blood sweat and tears I will forever love this program. Every person is an important role for a show to happen from the biggest role to the smallest. I’m very sad but it’s time to pass the headset on to the next generation of amazing people who will hopefully love this family as much as me.

My name is Victoria Komarnitska, and I have been involved in theater for three years. Starting off during my sophomore year, I worked on Puffs, The Laramie Project, and The Addams Family musical. My junior year, I was part of Radium Girls, Clue, and the Cinderella musical. For my senior year, I worked on Noises Off and will soon be involved in Freaky Friday the musical.

In all of these shows, my primary role was in set production. Additionally, I had a small but memorable role as a horse pulling Cinderella’s carriage in the musical, which I enjoyed as it was a new and unique experience.

There are many reasons I love ROPA. It’s one big family that will always support you and help you grow in countless ways. It provides the opportunity to experience amazing things with incredible people, and that’s why I truly adore the program and everything it offers. I deeply treasure the traditions and memories created during these shows. You can go through so much in such a short amount of time, and that often brings people incredibly close together. Those moments will always have a place in my heart.

That’s a wrap on noises off! Thank you to our wonderful cast and crew for all of their hard work. We could not have done this without the help from our parent volunteers but especially not without our incredible directors.
