2 weeks ago, we got together for our first expert evening on hormonal health.

Sukha grew out of my own personal path. A couple of years ago my body started shifting - questions I didn’t have answers to, hormonal changes I wasn’t prepared for. This year, that experience became the foundation for what I’m building here.

On June 17th, Dr. med. Isabel Hornsby Tourneur, gynecologist and psychologist, joined us at @kruut_organic in Berlin Mitte for an evening of honest conversation. What drives our hormones. What shifts as we approach perimenopause and fertility questions. How it shows up in the body and the mind. What we can actually do about it. Followed by an open Q&A where the room really opened up.

Watching women share, ask questions they’d been carrying for years, support each other - that’s the community Sukha is here for and makes me so happy to see.

Thank you to everyone who came. To @kruut_organic for the beautiful space. To @traceyjane_harker and @boma_berlin for the catering.

This is just the beginning. Our hormonal health retreat is coming this October in the Uckermark: 4 science-led modules, pilates, resistance training, somatic breathing to calm the nervous system. A weekend to go deeper.

Last Sunday, we came together in Berlin for a heartfelt conversation on fertility, hormones and pregnancy.

Followed by a seasonal brunch by @melaniewehrli, featuring ingredients rich in omega-3s, protein, folate, iron, vitamins D, B6 and C, antioxidants, and other nutrients that nourish hormonal and reproductive health.

What I learned on my fertility journey - and what I wish someone had told me earlier.

When I visited a fertility clinic I thought I’d get clear answers. A plan, some certainty.
Instead I got mixed messages, different opinions, different protocols. A lot of pressure.

Very little real explanation.

I’m sharing this, not as a medical advice, but as things I learned along the way that helped me understand better, zoom out and trust the process.

Because fertility isn’t just numbers and timelines.
Its your nervous system, your environment, your choices, your support.

And most of us were never given the full picture.

Turns out I’ll find any excuse to create something. Spaces, experiences, excuses to get people in a room together.

I teach yoga. I also can’t stop building itineraries, curating playlists, finding the right people for the right room and locations that do half the work before anyone arrives.

The unfiltered truth about egg freezing.

I wasn’t planning on sharing this but this is me freezing my eggs - as a so called “low responder”.

Low AMH means that the ovarian reserve is lower and the ovaries might not respond as strongly to the hormonal stimulation.

Fewer follicles.
Fewer eggs.
And sometimes… a result that feels frustrating, even when you’ve done everything “right.”

It doesn’t mean impossible.
But it does mean this process can be a lot more emotional than expected.

This is me, in it.
