ROAD TRIP SCENARIO: THE NORTH OF FRANCE 🇫🇷 #luxfriends_france

Follow #luxfriends_travel for more travel ideas 💡

Soon we will have plenty of long weekends and the weather is promising to be fine in April/May so it can be a good opportunity to go on a 🚗 road trip! First road trip idea — THE NORTH OF FRANCE, Normandie and Bretagne and a little bit of Pays de la Loire.

Whole trip takes 7 to 10 day, depends on how much time you would love to spend at each spot ⭐️ And of course you can have a shorter distance to travel 🗺️ skipping some of our points.

1. Rouen — visit the capital of Normandie. Explore the historic Old Town with its half-timbered houses, and visit the Gros-Horloge clock 🌙 Spend 1st night here.

2. Étretat — take a hike along the scenic coastal paths for breathtaking views 🌊 Don’t miss a chance to visit Les Jardins d’Etretat. Adult ticket is around 12 euros.

3. Honfleur — go to take a picture of a picturesque Vieux Bassin, visit the St Catherine Church ⛪️ the largest wooden church in France, have a fruit des mer for a dinner at local restaurant 🌙 Spend 2nd night here.

4. Deuville — relax on the beautiful sandy beaches and feel this 🏇🏻 “old money vibe” 🌙 Spend 3rd night closer to Mont St Michel so the next day is saved exclusively for Mont St Michel.

5. Mont Saint-Michel — this UNISCO world heritage site is known for its stunning medieval architecture 🏰 Consider visiting during both high and low tides to witness the unique tidal dynamics.

6. Cancale — eat oysters 🦪 here🌙Spend 4th night here.

7. Saint Malo — eat famous crepes 🥞 of Bretagne region in Saint Malo. Don’t forget to order apple cider 🍺

8. Nantes — former capital of Bretagne but now capital city of Pays de la Loire. Explore the Machines 🐘 of the Isle of Nantes, featuring giant mechanical creatures 🌙 Stay here your 5th and 6th nights, you won’t regret it.

9. Chateau de Chenanceu — book a hotel room not far from here so when you wake up you go early to avoid over crowded visiting of this picturesque château 🤍

Have you been to this region of France? 🙌🏻 #luxembourgblogger #francetourisme #francetravel #bretagne #normandy #roadtrip #luxembourg #travelblogger

It was a warm brunch day with girls: @dr.olga.dn , @dr.sotto , @vesnina.photographer , @j.vronskaya and @vikusilver 💞 Then we strolled a bit around Lux city, capturing last days of Christmas decorations ⭐️

Thank you, Vika, for making this little unplanned street style photo session with one hand, while your second hand was busy by pushing a baby stroller 😄 #luxfriends_life
