Hello? I live here now! 🥹✨

Some places feel like a dream. This 1908 historic landmark, with its Belle Époque charm, hand-carved wooden ceilings, antique chandeliers, and Moorish-inspired shutters, felt like stepping into another, better era.

Right on the beachfront in Armação de Pêra, Algarve, Portugal, with the ocean just steps away, slow mornings by the heated pool, and sunsets from the sun terrace overlooking the sea.

A little history, a little magic, and the kind of beauty that makes you stop for a second and think, is this even real?

Life is a blessing… true physical and mental wellbeing comes from within, from an immense amount of work we do with ourselves and from the people we attract along our journey.

Forever grateful to have met @yoga.with.margarida on a personal and professional level at @vilavitacollection a few years ago…

She has been an inspiration and a source of genuine positive energy…

I am quoting Margarida:

Energy is never the same every day… it’s ok to be “down” some days… we notice it, we don’t push anythung down.
Maybe that mood or feeling is trying to tell us something or make us think… thats important too!
We then pick ourselves up thinking of one or more things we are grateful for in our life today.
This is one of the ways Yoga helps us every day🙏🏻🌸

Thank you @vilavitaparcresort and @yoga.with.margarida for last week’s moments of serenity and emotional equilibrium.

Behind TANTO are one Portuguese and one Italian who travel a lot but love coming back to their roots.

Your next wine tasting spot is a wine cellar 8 metres underground in Portugal.

Hidden under the lawns of Vila Vita Parc in the Algarve is Portugal’s largest private wine collection. More than 11,000 bottles sit under vaulted brick ceilings, lit by candles, and some of them are older than your great-grandparents. (Yes, there’s a Madeira from 1850.)

What we love most is how personal the tasting feels. A sommelier walks you through the cellar’s stories, then you sit down with glasses from the resort’s own Alentejo estate, Herdade dos Grous, plus Portuguese petiscos (small shared plates, like tapas), cheese, warm bread and their own olive oil.

That’s what we care about at TANTO: good wine, real stories, and a table that feels like yours for the evening.
