If you’re planning a Bali trip, don’t underestimate how much the right location can change your holiday.

We stayed at Villa Eshara in Seminyak for 7 nights with 4 couples, and the biggest win wasn’t just the beautiful villa - it was being able to WALK almost everywhere.

📍 Less than 5 minutes to KuDeTa, Seminyak Beach, Eat Street, coffee, restaurants, cafes & massages.

And this is probably my biggest Bali tip: pick an area and stick to it. When you can walk to the places you actually want to visit, you spend so much more time enjoying Bali and so much less time sitting in traffic.

The villa itself was a great fit for our group too:
• 5 bedrooms + 2 pools in our configuration
• Can open up to an enormous 8-bedroom, 3-pool villa
• Huge bedrooms with flexible sleeping options
• Perfectly suited to groups of couples OR multiple families staying together
• Villa manager, housekeeping, butler & security
• Filtered drinking water + everything we needed for an easy stay

💰 $6,600 AUD for 7 nights
That worked out at around $236 per couple, per night for our group of four couples.

Would we stay again? Absolutely. And we’re already itching to come back with our kids.

📌 Save this one for your next Bali trip.

After 15 years of coming to Bali, we’ve learned that you really don’t need to see it all in one trip. 🌴

For this trip, we chose Seminyak for an adults-only week with my siblings and their partners. Four couples, no kids, no packed itinerary… and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. 🥂

Our biggest Bali tip? Pick one area and stick to it.

Bali traffic can be wild, but when you stay somewhere with great food, beautiful villas, beach clubs, massages, shopping and sunsets all close by, you can spend far less time in a car and much more time actually enjoying Bali.

We walked and hired scooters to get around locally, then made one big exception for Uluwatu to celebrate at Savaya. Two hours in traffic to get there, but dancing the night away like we were back in our twenties made it worth it. 😂

And this is just the beginning of our Bali content…

POV you’re driving to work and get a call to say you won the challenge!! 🤭🌴🫨

Shout out to Chelsea, our HOTTER FOR WINTER 5 week challenge who has won flights covered by us and accomm gift vouchers for Bali ($700 @villafinder ) 🌴

Chelsea is so deserving of this, she did over 27 classes, additional bonus challenges, and got up early in the darker colder mornings to train at our early sessions. A quiet achiever, but someone who always works so hard + inspires us daily ✨

What should we do for our next challenge 👀

Where every day comes with a little adventure. 🏄‍♀️🌿

At Villa Cami, the surfboard is never too far away.

Wake up surrounded by tropical greenery, grab your board, and head out to discover the waves and beaches of Selong Belanak. Then come back to your own peaceful space, slow down, and let the afternoon unfold.

Here, surfing, barefoot walks and slow village living become part of your everyday rhythm.
