first couple weeks of classes!! Went to the Stilly county fair, took a first day of school pic with the girlies, started Women’s Bible study, went to Pop’s, been playing lots of sand volleyball, and saw some cute deer!! So excited for the rest of the semester!! 🧡🍁🦌🧺📙

It hasn’t hit me yet that this chapter in my life is over. It hasn’t hit me yet that I’ll be moving away from the people I’ve called family for the past two years. It hasn’t hit me yet that Kayden and I will be leaving our first home. It’s true when they say that you never know you’re in some of the best years of your life until it’s over. The memories I’ve made here I will cherish forever. Becoming an SLP is truly one of the hardest things I’ve ever done but also one of the most rewarding and fulfilling achievements I’ve ever accomplished. Thank you for all of the support and encouragement as I chased my dreams. I’m so grateful to everyone in my life. I’ve accepted a job in an early child development preschool setting in Utah! 🥂 I am so excited for the next chapter in my life! 🧡🖤🧡🖤

2023 it’s been real

The last 8 weeks I’ve had the opportunity and privilege to work at a pediatric clinic at Sensational Kids!

I want to give a huge shoutout to my supervisors, Abby and Jessica 💕. They are not only incredible SLPs but also amazing women and friends too. I am immensely grateful for their patience, kindness, and example to me. I have grown SO much in my confidence of being a clinician. Thank you two for everything! ❤️

Now I have 1 last 8 week spring semester and 1 last 8 week externship and I will be one step closer to becoming an SLP!!

Last week I completed 4/5 semesters of grad school! Now I have the opportunity to do an 8 week externship at a pediatric clinic and I’m loving it!

I’m so so grateful to this amazing program, my family, and friends for helping me achieve my dreams and goals of becoming an SLP 💕
