Over the past few years working for Hyundai Motorsport, we’ve learned what it means to work alongside these women and men. As photographers, we’ve tried to stay out of their way, while still getting close enough to capture the heart of what they do and the relentless dedication behind it.

On Saturday evening in Sardinia, punctures and car damage meant neither of the Hyundai cars was in contention for a meaningful result. But that didn’t change a thing. These people kept giving everything they had, pushing just as hard as if a World Championship title were on the line.

That same dedication goes far beyond what we see in the service area: the test team, the weather crews, the logistics team, the engineers, the catering staff, the security staff, the marketing team, and everyone back at the workshop — everyone works behind the scenes but plays their part. All that hard work comes with intense emotions when key moments occur, whether it’s the joy of a win, the disappointment of a tough result, or the final service of the Rally1 era.

The future of this team remains uncertain. What we do know is that we’re proud to have played a small part in this journey. But more than anything, we’re proud to have been able to tell their story through our lens, and to show the people behind it all.

Whatever comes next, what stays with us is the people themselves — some of the best in the business, driven by passion. This isn’t goodbye — we’ll meet again soon!
