What a night of “ Three Cults Walk Into A Bar” at the @lyrichyperion. It was a truly amazing crowd with another fantastic turnout. 12th show!! What was truly the highlight of the night is when the amount of hands went up for who was in a cult before. I could’ve never through that I could use my traumatic religious experience as a way to allow myself to heal while simultaneously allowing other to feel less alone and heal as well. Every Q & A is different and this one was one of my favorites. Thanks to @mikebridenstine for moderating. Thanks for the reviews and especially thanks to @vincentbrownla for the post and kind words. As well as @thesneakyneeky for sharing me their experience as well. Still time to catch Three Cults with the next one July 31st 7:30pm @lyrichyperion . Theres exciting things in the works so you never know when the date will be your last to check it out. @damu_malik_photo with the best photos @nidalb in the tech booth - - - - - #comedy #threecultswalkintoabar #threecults #comedian #standupcomedy #soloshow #lyrichyperiontheatreandcafe #lyrichyperion #la #losangeles #cults #cultsurvivor #inacult #inspire #uriahjokes #latimes #ktla #fringe #bestshow #religion #god

How was the @copilots_reading_series already 3 weeks ago? Did I slip on a time banana peel? Sometimes when I’m driving I’m afraid to look away from the road to see how fast I’m driving because I think a week will pass and I’m hit 8 cars. That sentence just took 4 years to write. Nothing maths anymore. Except thst @copilots_reading_series is delightful and I’m so grateful brilliant masterminds @yaydanielle and @hrhuntington included me and I got to play with @imlaurahouse which is always a treat. Can’t wait for Atherton to hit production or for the next copilots.

In episode 518, Hilliard and comedy writer Myles Warden sat down for a super fun conversation with Co-Executive Producer VINCENT BROWN. Vincent recently wrapped up as co-executive producer for the FOX animated series HOUSEBROKEN, starring Lisa Kudrow. Prior to that, he served as a Co-Executive Producer on Apple TV’s series LIFE BY ELLA, winner of the Humanitas Award, a WGA Award and the Emmy Award for writing. He began in television on the Emmy-winning PBS children’s show, WISHBONE. After moving to Los Angeles, he joined MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE as Writer’s Guild Trainee, and his first network shows were COMMITTED (NBC-Universal) and GIRLFRIENDS. He has written for numerous family sitcoms, including Disney series such as A.N.T. FARM and K.C. UNDERCOVER, as well as adult sitcoms like the acclaimed Latino reboot of Norman Lear’s ONE DAY AT A TIME. His work on A.N.T. FARM won both a WGA Award and NAACP Image Award. He was nominated again for a WGA award for his work on LIFE BY ELLA (Apple TV+) and won the Emmy award for the same show. He has developed shows for Disney, Nickelodeon, and Kapital Entertainment in partnership with Cedric the Entertainer’s Bird and Bear. He’s currently working with producers trying to bring multiple projects based on IP to market because that’s where we are now.
