In deze aflevering o.a.:

In a world shaped by tension and acceleration, SHELTER invites us to pause, reflect, and reconnect.

Opening this Sunday, June 21, at 4.00 PM, at @icoon_hoekvanholland, the group exhibition takes place in a museum of minimal art and design housed in a former bunker. Reimagining the building’s original defensive function, SHELTER transforms the space into one of dialogue, reflection, and optimism.

Curated by HIG friend Berry Dijkstra and Helma Vlemmings, the exhibition unfolds across five themes and brings together the work of 40 designers. Through diverse perspectives and disciplines, SHELTER offers a visual response to contemporary global challenges and explores how design can help shape hopeful futures.

Finished the first *new* fringe table lights 💡 Handcut panels (production waste), threaded together with paracord and cord locks.

This table light settles effortlessly into any interior, thanks to its transparency. Like a true chameleon, it absorbs the colors of its surroundings and radiates them back into the space 🦎

It comes with a cord dimmer and includes 3 LED bulbs, and is compatible with any other E14 LED source.

I’ve decided on 3 cord color combinations: brown, green, blue, and made just two of each for now. You can find them in my webshop (link in bio) or @waar.van.daan where you can even get a one-off version in red 🍒

Thanks to my skilled intern @kres_design for helping me out with this one! 🫶🏻

✨ Where function meets personality ✨

Back by popular demand - Here are some sinks that are bathroom show stoppers!

Unexpected shapes, tactile finishes, and a little bit of fun -
these are the pieces that shift a space from basic to considered.
