my love letter to madison ⚜️

I was sixteen when I started my first season with this corp. I was still in high school and had never marched at this level before. I walked in thinking that I would hate the season, that I was not cut out for this kind of activity, and that there was no way I would fit in at a place like this. However this organization proved me completely wrong. The people I have met, both friends and educators, and the opportunities I’ve been given, have shaped me into the person I am today. This organization taught me life lessons, gave me a forever family, and showed me how to be a better person. I will always be eternally grateful for everything that the Madison Scouts have given me. Thank you again for letting me be a part of such an amazing production, allowing me to perform with such a great group of people. You all have taught me more than you will ever know.

Grateful for another summer with the Madison Scouts. It was an absolute honor and privilege to help bring this show to life. I’m pretty sure those vocal cues are going to be stuck in my head for a LONG time!

Thank you to the incredible staff, admin, and design team for your continued support and for everything you do behind the scenes. Most importantly, I’m so proud of the membership and the tremendous amount of work they put in all summer. It was a joy to watch your growth.

Every year, on the last Thursday of July, we celebrate National Intern Day by recognizing the incredible work Earlham students are doing in their communities and beyond.

Whether students have a clear vision for their future or are still exploring what’s next, Earlham’s Center for Career Education helps them connect with high-impact internships, career advising, and experiential learning opportunities tailored to their interests.

These resources are available to every student, in every major, empowering them to build the skills, confidence, and experiences they need to become leaders in their fields.

Experiences like these are more than résumé builders, they’re opportunities to learn, grow, make an impact, and discover what’s possible.

That’s a wrap!!

My time at Earlham has been so special, made better with so many friends. I am so glad I chose here because the community we have built will last us lifetimes.

Easily the best four years of my life. I have loved growing and changing with you all (even those I forgot to get pictures with! Post commencement was hectic! 😊)
