We love an independent bass fest.

Especially one in Texas.

Especially one that looks like this.

Keep swiping for 𝟠 ℂ𝕒𝕟’𝕥-𝕄𝕚𝕤𝕤 𝔸𝕣𝕥𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕤 at @beyondexistencefest - taking place at their NEW HOME on The G Ranch in San Marcos, Texas 🔮

@vinjasound - Canada Debut!

Emerging from the San Francisco Bay Area's underground scene in the late '90s, Vinja has spent more than two decades exploring the intersections of turntablism, hip-hop and bass.

Combining intricate live scratching, carefully placed vocal cuts and deep textured basslines, Vinja brings an unmistakable old-school sensibility to modern underground sounds.

Vinja's journey has taken him from intimate warehouse gatherings to some of the most celebrated stages, including Tipper & Friends, Alex & Allyson Grey's CoSM, Infrasound and Secret Dreams!

This Halloween, we're thrilled to welcome Vinja for his long-awaited Canada debut at @alternity.hub

This is what Secret DREEEEAMS are made of!

September was INSANE & I have so much to post starting with Labor Day weekend. This was both mine & @vinjasound first time ever at @secretdreamsfest ! Despite delayed flights, broken tents, broken cell phone, and all… this was actually one of my favorite fests. The entire SD team took excellent care, I got to hug a ton of people I’ve missed dearly, made new friends, & most importantly, of course, & as usual, the Vinja set was ⛽️⛽️⛽️

My official @badgermusicfestival is finally out!

Between all these fests & broken phones & yada yada, things are moving a little slower on the social media front. But we’ve landed!

This homie fest has become something truly special. So many friends are involved at this point & I think everyone is just stoked to watch it grow. Ty for another year of madness in the high desert! More to come!

Much needed girls weekend with @squid_o_o_ and @sarahxstubbs 💗 this weekend has me truly feeling refreshed after having many many laughs, dancing all night long and amazing conversation!

We started the weekend off learning about green burials and willow casket weaving at Rare Bird Farm then got to dance our booties off to Ott. & Vinja on Saturday night 🤩 squeezed in some hangs with @she1by.len0ir and @becknez and ended the weekend with a beautiful hike 🌿

My cup is full 💗👽✨

Reflections Presents:
@vinjasound — Toronto Debut

Halloween Night
Saturday October 31st, 2026
Toronto | Alternity | Limited Capacity

The portal is opening...

Reflections returns to Alternity for a special night of sound, art, and the strange.

Inspired by the spirit of Boom Festival, Alternity has become a home for Toronto’s psychedelic community and visionary art scene, as well as Reflections' monthly gatherings.

This Halloween, we’re diving deeper into what makes Alternity & Reflections events unlike anywhere else.

Weaving our way through breakbeats, trip-hop, drum & bass, jungle, and the spaces between. While fully surrounded by immersive art in one of Toronto’s most unique venues.

At the centre of it all, we’re excited to welcome the incredible turntablist Vinja for his Toronto debut!

Vinja's journey stretches back to the late-90s warehouse rave scene. With decades behind the decks, winding through the outer limits of electronic music, their path has moved from intimate underground gatherings to Tipper & Friends at Suwannee, the visionary grounds of Alex & Allison Grey’s CoSM, and festival dance floors at Infrasound and Secret Dreams.

Halloween bends time this year, with clocks turning back, giving us an extra hour inside the dance.

Enter the portal...

Lineup:
🔊 Vinja
⚡️ H!B!
⚡️ Purrpelle
⚡️ Papa Zen (extended ethereal breaks set)

📍 Alternity | Toronto | 333 Bloor st. W
🔊 KV2 Sound
🎵 10 PM–3 AM
✨ Limited Capacity

* The poster backdrop is an original design by our friend, Jay Tripper, who created the artwork for our events from 2012–2018. This piece is one of two designs Jay created in 2018 with the intention of one day becoming part of an event.

This Halloween, after eight years in the archives, both pieces will finally be brought into the room. The original designs will be displayed in full at Alternity, without the event graphics and typography, giving Jay’s artwork the space it was always intended to have. 💗
