Tonight, on the 3rd of July, 2026, there will be no fewer than five exciting role debuts in John Cranko’s masterpiece “Onegin” on the stage of the Semperoper: Elena Karpuhina as Tatiana, Jun Xia as Onegin, Nastazia Philippou as Olga, Vincenzo Mola as Lenski, and Lamin Pereira as Gremin.

All of these roles demand not only the highest level of technical precision, but also the ability to immerse oneself in the characters and their story in a way that deeply moves the audience.

We wish them the best of luck with this challenge!
