So thankful to @izzyxwolf for capturing such gorgeous moments during the @queerdancefreakout summer show! I really loved what this show represented as a display of queer history, culture, and celebration 💕

Moments from this summer🧚‍♂️🪩🕺

This summer was a whirlwind and I am thankful for all the adventures I got to have with new and old friends! My heart has been so full lately, and I am so thankful✨

They say it gets better; it really does. Keep going, keep fighting, you never know what magic is on the other side.

🥸Gender is Silly🥸

Choreographed and Performed by Vinnie Horne @vinniedance and myself for Rainbow Night in 2025.

“Gender is Silly” is incredibly important to me. It was Vinnie and I’s first real collaboration and it really sealed the deal on the fact that we want to create together forever. I love being with and creating with that incredible human more than words can describe.

The piece itself is an exploration of gender and our complicated feelings about it. It’s a work we plan to expand on in the future, which would be extra fun for me as my concept of gender has *aggressively* changed since this piece was born and both of our movement styles have evolved.

We also submitted this piece to “Star AF” by Queer Dance Freakout and got to preform it at their show in Chicago, which was so flipping cool.

Moral of the story: the piece feels like Vinnie and I’s baby:)

Thank you to everyone who helped make this piece happen! I am beyond grateful for my dancers for working with me to create Mass Ornament, as well as the other choreographers and crew members for listening to me rant and brainstorm and helping me define my vision in such a short period of time. 💖💖
