well...the phantom got us(@vintage_dimples )We had a great 12 days spent between the Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Just over 3300 miles and 8000 photos. We captured everything....Moose, Elk, Mule Deer,Bison, Pronghorn. etc..we were lucky enough to see a black wolf (our 1st)and Grizzly bears in Lamar Valley... but through the spotting scope, not close enough for a photos. We spent some time looking and hoping to be graced with the presence of the Great Grey owl and on our last day it happened. She landed in a tree just as we went south out of Hayden Valley. And while we did get a great look at her(it's always a her)... we pulled over as fast as I could , grabbing my camera, and This shot of her flying off is all I could pull off. disappointed ?....not at all, We finally saw the Great Grey... till next time.
