BACKSTAGE PASS BOOK & RARE SYSTEM OF A DOWN 1995 ROXY FLYER GIVEAWAY Entries are open until July 8. Winners announced the following week. HOW TO ENTER 1. Follow my page 2. Like this post 3. Tag at least 3 people in one comment and up to 16 people in the comment for 16 max entries (people that are tagged are not entered into the giveaway- they need to tag a minimum of 3 or more themselves to be entered) I’m giving away a rare 1995 Roxy flyer signed by Serj Tankian, along with signed copies of my book Backstage Pass and other original Roxy memorabilia from my personal archive. Back in 1995, System of a Down played their Memorial Day show at the Roxy. The place was packed with Armenian friends and family from Glendale, and it was the first time I ever saw them perform. At the time, almost nobody in the Hollywood music scene took them seriously. I did. I told everyone they were going to be huge. No one believed me. I even tried to get them on the Roxy’s Monster Mosh show alongside my band Mind Heavy Mustard, but the Roxy turned it down. The full story is in my book. Years later, after becoming Production Manager at the Roxy, I had Shavo sign a few photos from his birthday celebration at the club. Around that same time, Serj signed several original 1995 Roxy flyers that I had saved. Now one of them is yours to win. GRAND PRIZE • Rare 1995 Roxy flyer signed by Serj Tankian and sealed in an acrylic display case • Signed copy of Backstage Pass • Original Roxy photo from the book, signed on the back + stickers SECOND PLACE • Photo signed by Shavo from his 2008 birthday celebration at the Roxy • Signed copy of Backstage Pass • Original Roxy photo from the book, signed on the back+ Sticker 10 RUNNERS-UP • Signed and personalized copy of Backstage Pass • Original Roxy photo from the book+Sticker DETAILS • Winners selected randomly by computer • I cover shipping • Winners agree to post a photo or story and tag me when their prize arrives These items have been in my personal collection for over 30 years. Commenting on this post or any of the SOAD giveaway posts counts as an entry. DM me with any questions. Good luck.
