for one, i thought that any albums after abiior would be hard to top, but they knocked it out of the ballpark once again. this album delves into issues that are happening around the world, but in a tone that mellows down the conversation in real life. we need to have more of such conversations with one another, to be honest. the faster paced songs are a good throwback into the early days, while the slower ones are personally my favourite. as i knew this was a big hit for me, i started to source for all the variants and thankfully, @vinylvin_ managed to snag the spotify exclusive for, allowing me to complete this collection. @the1975 - being funny in a foreign language pressing: clear, blue galaxy (webstore exclusive), white (indie exclusive), picture disc (webstore exclusive), transparent blue (hmv exclusive), black & white (spotify exclusive), grey and white (urban outfitters) fav tracks: about you, part of the band, human too this comes in as one of my favourite album of the year for 2023. the sounds feels nostalgic, but fresh. this album stood out because of the lyrical persona it has, and i enjoy having conversations to my peers about it. i hope that you tour singapore and i will be vibing to your very best.
