The ripple effect of art!!!! #Arrived at the gallery on the closing weekend of MAGIC WATER expecting an ordinary afternoon and instead walked into one of the most meaningful moments of the exhibition. A group of recent college graduates had gathered with sketchbooks and tablets in hand, spending hours with the work. Years of scuba diving, marine research, and time spent listening to the ocean have shaped my practice. To witness these underwater worlds touch others in ways I could never have imagined was deeply moving. The greatest gift an artist can receive is knowing that something they created had the power to inspire, to create real change, to shift perspective, to spark curiosity, or to leave a lasting impact on another person. Art matters because it has the ability to move us. And when we are moved, we pay attention. We care. We imagine new possibilities. I left feeling both touched and inspired. Scroll to see the artworks that resonated with these artists and the beautiful ways they responded. 🌊✨ #Touched #Inspired #MagicWater #OceanArt CreativeCommunity @sile.ntgaze @algunafotografia @violent.tea @brybrymakesart @magikyarp _pupkie_

✶ 𝙰𝚛𝚝𝚒𝚜𝚝 𝚂𝚙𝚘𝚝𝚕𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 ✶ With the conclusion of part one of my web comic Right Before The Sun Sets , I want to show all the works from the artists that were part of the segment: "Artist Spotlight". These were artists that I commissioned to create illustrations of the characters from my web comic , which I would then showcase in the digital version of such. 🎨🧑🏽‍🎨 I want to thank everyone who has expressed their interest, support and love for this project. Every time I open my messages and I read a new message from someone expressing how much they like my comic I feel a fuzzy warm feeling in my chest. ❤️‍🔥 Part 2 of Right Before The Sun Sets is currently being worked on. You can read RBTSS through the links in my bio in Webtoon CANVAS, Tapas or ComicFury 🔗 That is all for now🫶🏾 With love, Bellflowwer🩵 #rightbeforethesunsetscomic #webcomic #comic #oc #webseries

Sonic Expo 2026 is in the books! I had such a wonderful weekend and I can’t wait till next time! Being at Expo always makes me feel so seen, loved, and accepted. It’s such a freeing feeling. 🙏 All these individuals are so kind and I feel so lucky to be able to spend time with y’all in person! There’s something so magical about being surrounded by other people who have the same passion for Sonic 💙 Looking back, little 8 year old me drawing sonic would have never imagined the blue hedgehog would lead me to meeting so many wonderful friends and opening so many incredible doors of opportunities from my art. It still feels surreal💙 I genuinely feel so blessed to be a part of this community🙏🥹 #sonicthehedgehog #sonicexpo2025

Literally the penultimate #lonestarzinefest2025 exhibitors post. We are merely DAYS AWAY! Toryvea (IG: @toryvea) I'm an artist focused on traditional painting with an interest in retro girly aesthetics. I love to share my interests in the form of print media, as I've self published and worked on many art zines and some magazines. The UT Libraries Zine Collection (guides.lib.utexas.edu/zines) represent a wide range of subcultures, viewpoints, hobbies, artistic practices, and activist movements. There is an emphasis on zines related to music, art and creative writing, and we try to include the work of local and regional zinesters. Vic Rodriguez Tang (IG: @vicrodrigueztang) I create bold and experimental risograph prints, using vibrant colors and imperfect techniques to push the boundaries of traditional design. My work blends analog processes with conceptual design, often exploring themes of identity, inclusivity, and social impact. Each piece embraces the beauty of imperfections, allowing for unexpected outcomes that challenge norms and spark conversation. Violent Tea (IG: @violent.tea) I'm an artist who works on webcomics and horror themed zines! visaje art dispensary (IG: @visaje.artdispensary) Creatives growing, cultivating and curing art and crafts. Providing unique and serial works tailored to all budgets. #zine #zines #zine_ig #zinesters #zinester #zinemaking #zineculture #comix #comixart #atx #atxevents #atxfree #atxfreeevents #lonestarzinefest2025
