#sireneilpodcast #Violentene #victimsoflight #synthpop #darkwave

IN A MINUTE: •• A New Music RoundUP! •• “JUDGE JUDY EXECUTIONER” is the A/side to @projectjfkultra’s freshly dropped self-titled 7” (@knifehitsrecords) & it finds the noisy trio assuring us their only concern is “with the writing & recording of auditory materials intended to be broadcast for the purpose of controlling listener behavior” across a sub-3 min slice of industrialized GothPunk. •• “FIRST RED RAYS” is a choice cut from @neurosisoakland’s recently released surprise LP titled ‘An Undying Love for a Burning World’ (@neurotrecordings) & it finds the veteran Bay Area crew ending their 10 year silence across 8 1/2 post-rocking, sludge_metaling & properly neurosis’d minutes. •• “SEX SONG” is the lead track on @newnotshameful’s recently released EP titled ‘Interlude’ (@cherub.dream.records) & it finds the Philly-based project bringing the dissonantly cathartic goods across 5+ SlowEmoOberstCoring minutes. •• “OVERCOME” is the closing track on @violentenemusic’s recently released EP titled ‘Victims of Light’ & it finds the ever reliable Ottawa-based duo going out a high note across 4 mins of aesthetically apt, synthetically popped & cinematically scoped NuWave. •• ZIN are here w/ “WATERING CAN (Companion),” the second single from their forthcoming album titled ‘Levitation Frequency’ (4/24 @craftedsounds) & it finds the Pittsburgh-based project waxing upon “a yearning for belonging & rootedness, the sharp awareness of found and lost companionship” across 4+ mins of gloomily doomed & tenderly gazed AltRawk. ••• #rock #indie #metal #altrockvibes #music
