Beautiful Day, Beautiful Customers, Beautiful Smells and Sounds.
Come spend the day at Libbey by the fountain. We are tucked in the cool shade and have plenty of seating to listen to the incredible music and watch the dancers.
We have specials for Mother’s Day 💛

We are bummed (and excited for her) to announce that our very own Maya Halverson has accepted a new job and will be moving on from her sales position at PDC. 😢 We are so sad to see her go, but also so very grateful to her for all the amazing work she provided over the last couple of years!! 🙏❤️🙏 We will miss seeing you around the shop, Maya! That is, as a salesperson. She will be working locally and I strongly suspect she will go back to being a regular customer! Many thanks, Maya, and good luck with your new gig! If you see her around town, congratulate her!

Go ahead…try and quantify the wonderful #textural #skincontact #Serbianwine . Nerdy notes in comments for #corkdork types . Pan seared flounder in ginger-tangerine-leek #buerreblanc with new squash and yuzu for dinner . #goodtimes thanks to @danchandgrangerselections for being ever-in-search of epic weird wines & @pointdechene for being always receptive to such elusive delights. It’s been amazing.

#spoiled & #treated by one of my lovely @pointdechene customers, (the phrase “fan club” has been used, I just am so happy to earn the trust of so many diverse palates!) full disclosure; I was GIFTED this gorgeous bottle of #sardegna #poetry by @az.agr.eugenio.bocchino

The grape is Pascale di Cagliari, which is a more rare varietal. Made by a husband & wife team @az.agr.raica in an #organic / #biodynamicwine manner (all the things here; #spontaneousfermentation #indigenousyeast #minimalinterventionwine ), it gets a nice rest in OLD neutral barrels, which I can vouch are truly neutral (otherwise I’d been wildly sick, as I’m allergic to any trace of new oak & many wines who have even touched wood!) I swear you can taste the love, along with the deeply pleasurable #roseoil #anisette #thyme #herbaceous black fruits, well integrated tannins & a kiss of ocean breeze to keep things balanced as far as acidity goes. A special occasion (or a Friday night you’d like to sit and marvel over the evolution of the flavors with a fellow #winegeek ) is when to open this gorgeous bottle.
