Recreating a pop culture moment that altered my brain chemistry 🤩🎀 My first introduction to this iconic scene was actually through Madonna’s “Material Girl”. As a little girl, I used to watch that music video on repeat, completely mesmerized by all that pink glamour. Years later (yes it took embarrassingly that long lol) I found out it was actually a tribute to Marilyn Monroe’s “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” musical number. And here we are, some 30 years later, coming full circle and recreating the pop culture moment that probably made me into the pinup fashion loving self I am today 😂
