About our A BETTER VICTORY shirt:

Victory isn’t always conquering what’s in front of you.
It’s about conquering what’s within you.

The world celebrates strength.
Power.
Dominance.
The one who comes out on top.

But Scripture tells us there’s a better victory.

“Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.”
— Proverbs 16:32

A man can conquer an entire city and still be a slave to his own sin.

He can defeat every opponent and still be defeated by his own pride.

Because the greatest battle isn’t against the person or obstacle standing across from us.

It’s against the sin dwelling within us.

And no amount of discipline, determination, or human strength can conquer that.

We don’t need to become stronger versions of ourselves.

We need a Savior.

Everything we earn for ourselves will eventually fade.
The trophies will tarnish.
The records will be broken.
The glory will turn to dust.

What the world calls victory is here today and gone tomorrow.

But through His life, death, and resurrection, Christ secured a victory we could never earn.

One that cannot decay.
Cannot be taken.
Cannot be defeated.

The point was never that we were strong enough to win.
The point has always been that Christ is the better Victor, the better inheritance, the better portion.

And what He has earned for His people is the only victory that will last for eternity.

Not self-made for a moment.
Christ-redeemed forever.

Everything else is smoke.

Fargo 2026. Fargo All-American. 8th Place.

I came to Fargo with the goal of winning, but I’m walking away with lessons that are going to make me better. This tournament showed me the areas where I need to grow, not only as a wrestler, but as a person.

Fargo was an incredible experience, but it also challenged me in ways I didn’t expect. I learned that confidence is built through the work, discipline, preparation, and belief you develop every single day. I know what I need to improve, and I know what it takes to put myself in the position to reach my goals.

I’m not making excuses or focusing on what I could have done differently. I’m choosing to learn from this experience, trust the process, and continue moving forward. As I recover from my injury, I’m going to be patient, get healthy the right way, and come back stronger.

Most importantly, I’m trusting God’s plan and His timing. I know every opportunity, challenge, and lesson has a purpose. God’s plan is greater than my own, and I’m grateful for every step of this journey.

I’m extremely thankful for my coaches, family, friends, training partners, and everyone who has supported me along the way. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the people who continue to push me and believe in me.

My next goal is Super 32. I’m committed to the process and ready to put in the work every single day. The goal is still the same: to stand on top of the podium.

This isn’t the end. It’s another step forward.

The Junior women’s freestyle group has the most returning champions of any division at six, with Jaclyn Bouzakis of Pennsylvania, Emma Bacon of Pennsylvania, Nora Akpan of Minnesota, Violette Lasure of Pennsylvania, Olivia Georges of New Jersey and Deionna Borders of Ohio registered.
