Wandered around backstage with a tiny point-and-shoot, printed the images out on copy paper, cut them up and took photos of the build up. Thanks @miumiu for encouraging analog craftsmanship 🤍

Paris, France — January 2026 —

The first ‘A Night Of…’ took over Au Roi Galerie in Paris’ 11th arrondissement on January 31st, 2026, for an immersive, multi-disciplinary evening organised by Anna Dotigny and curated by Federico Nessi, the artist behind the avant-garde musical project Be My Wife.

The name Be My Wife is a paradox by design. Borrowed from one of Federico’s favourite David Bowie songs and a film by silent cinema icon Max Linder, it embraces humour and contradiction — a queer declaration that balances irony with heartbreak. Be My Wife is an exploration of this duality.

The name is also a tribute to the women who have shaped the project, hence the decision to place them at the centre of the evening’s artistic constellation.
The invited performers presented original performative works responding to the prompt: What world emerges when you search “Be My Wife + The Restless Pursuit To Deliver A Feeling”?

Performers: - Britt Liberg - Honour Thy Lovers - Sinéad Áoife Ní Tomás

The evening culminated in a full live performance of the album The Restless Pursuit To Deliver A Feeling, an eight-track collection of small, sharp prayers to dance floors and dim-lit reveries. The event also served as the official vinyl release of the record — a tactile extension of a project obsessed with presence, memory, and feeling.

Hosted within the intimate setting of Au Roi Galerie, A Night Of… invited audiences into a charged space where sound, performance, humour, and vulnerability collided — a night suspended between satire and sincerity, between the beat and the breakdown.

The night came together with the blood, sweat and tears of an incredible team.

“My anger is expensive,” Performance. Duration 1:30:00
A part of “A NIGHT OF…” @bemywife_official and @federiconessi album release

Filled of frustration and trapped the only way to go is to beat a dead horse until it destroys me, I have learned that anger is expensive.

An exploration in to rage in the domestic space, to honor the women before me who were born ahead of their time.
