Tonight didn’t feel like I was building a business. It felt like I was building a ministry. 🥹 I connected with 12 incredible women who saw the heart behind @maisonroyalesociety 👑

One thing I’m learning about leadership is that WHO you bring onto your team matters. Your people represent your values, vision, and reputation.

During a recent brainstorming session with @s2spodcast, CJ Quinney reminded me that I can’t build everything alone. Tonight reminded me how God connects us with the right people. ✨

According to a 2023 National Women’s Law Center survey, 51% of Black women stated that chronic stress significantly impacts their health and well-being. Having experienced my own seasons of trauma and stress, this mission is personal. Black women deserve rest, restoration, and community BEFORE burnout.

That’s the heart behind Maison Royale Society: sacred spaces where women feel seen, supported, celebrated, and poured into.

If you’ve read my recent article, you know wellness isn’t a trend for me. It’s part of my healing and growth. We can’t fully thrive if we aren’t prioritizing our well-being.

And I want to invite YOU to prioritize yours. 🫶🏾

I get a lot of compliments on my skin and people seem to be always surprised that I am 51. Well, its because my secret is Layvelle at @vipwaxstudio! With regular visits, I get the Korean Skin Care Facials which are so beneficial and hydrating to my skin. My skin is LIFTED and literally like GLASS!!! I eat healthy, drink water, and I take collagen daily to work from the inside out, but you need regular topical treatments to soften skin layers and work inside those pores to stay looking younger. It works for me and it can work for you!

This is a hill that I will forever die on as it pertains to haircuts and how they should be done for specific hair textures… this is why I firmly believe that all hair textures cannot be handled the same.
