These women. ❤️

The women who inspired me. The women who lifted me. The women whose strength, resilience, beauty, individuality, and courage helped shape the woman I am today.

As I look at these photos, I realize that I did not get to this moment alone.

At this point in my life, I am ready to stop questioning whether I belong and start stepping boldly into the opportunities that call my name.

Competing in the RISE Foundation’s Next Runway Star 2026 competition and having the opportunity to walk at New York Fashion Week is about so much more than fashion for me.

It is about representing ALL women—especially those of us who are 40 and beyond.

The women who have spent years caring for everyone else.
The women who have put their dreams on hold.
The women who are still discovering who they are.
The women who may wonder if their moment has already passed.

I want you to know:

✨ You are not too old.
✨ You are not too late.
✨ Your voice matters.
✨ Your dreams still matter.

If I have the honor of stepping onto that runway, I will be carrying the inspiration of these incredible women—and the hopes of every woman who is ready to step into her own next chapter. ❤️

Help me get there by casting your daily vote! 🙏✨

Let’s show the world that a woman’s story doesn’t end at 40… sometimes, that’s exactly when she’s ready to truly begin. ❤️🔥

On Sunday November 17,2019 on my radio show #yourcareeriscalling I had the pleasure of interviewing Virginia Calabrese. Virginia @labelleboutiqueofnj has an amazing story of her family immigrating from #italy🇮🇹 to build thriving #multigenerational businesses in #jerseycity. You can read about it in her book “IV Blocks from Home” available on Amazon. In her interview she shares some stories from the book and how she overcame her obstacle of #bullying. Be sure to listen in each week Sundays 8-9am on 107.7 the bronc. You can access the free iPhone or android apps search WRRC1 or WRRC2. Or listen live http://www.1077thebronc.com. You can also find the replays on my media page WandaEllett.com

Here's what this beautiful bride, Danielle, had to say about her #perfect dress! 💍👗👰🏻
---------------------------
"I went to a local boutique that has been around for over 50 years. I knew I wanted a personal experience where I could fall in love with something and not feel “rushed”. I tried on 5 dresses and I started to feel discouraged. The owner of the boutique said she had one more she thought I would love. She brought this dress out and without even trying it on, I knew it was the one. When I put the dress on, I felt magical. It felt so right. I wanted a touch of an “old school” feel with the lace detail around my dress. It made me feel like a princess while I married my Prince Charming."
