It’s an unreal feeling when a project takes a life of its own, when words from a script turn to visuals on a screen created by a mixed team of professionals and beginners, creatives and hustlers - representing all shades of brown 🐺

MEET THE CREW: 🗂️Producer, Vishnu Jegatheeswaran

Vishnu Jegatheeswaran, a Tamil-Canadian filmmaker, brings a unique blend of finance and storytelling to the world of cinema. Born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario, Vishnu's career, initially forged in the banking sector over five years, honed his leadership and collaborative abilities. His transition into filmmaking was driven by a passion for telling stories that resonate deeply with the Tamil-Canadian community, aiding in the realization of films that speak to shared experiences and histories. His creative interests are deeply rooted in themes of politics, history, conflict, and immigration — narratives that not only reflect personal insights but also echo the voices of many in the community. Currently, Vishnu is aspiring to integrate his financial acumen with his love for cinema, aiming to specialize in the administrative and financial aspects as the Producer of Arjuna. His goal is to bring to light stories that entertain, educate, and inspire, particularly those that delve into the rich tapestry of immigrant experiences in Canada.

Team Intros Day 2: FINANCE 🤑

This team is all about the money!
Finance Director, Vishnu, oversees budgeting plans, negotiations, partner and sponsorship outreach, transactions, and big decisions leading all departments to spend their cuts as efficiently as possible.
Our Chief Accountant, Anthony, keeps everything accounted for (obviously), preparing budget forecasts, reports, and tracking reimbursements.
Aimal, our Finance Assistant, fills in the gaps and keeps things on track ensuring organization and support for the department. 💸
