“Sampoorna” wrapped up this week, and honestly, the court scenes were the weakest part of the show’s run. Mittal, who is supposed to be a legendary lawyer who never loses, continued to defend Akash with that ridiculous “Sattu–Mitti affair” angle. It felt cheap and unnecessary. If he knew the case was slipping out of his hands, why did he even agree to fight it in the first place? One by one, even Rohit and Prithvi turned against Akash, something that was bound to happen given how twisted things had become.

The funniest and most unbelievable moment was Mitti suddenly claiming in court that Naina’s child is still alive. No real-life court would allow someone to hide such a huge fact and reveal it at the last minute. But well, it’s fiction, so we took it with a pinch of salt and moved on. One thing the makers got absolutely right is not forcing Sattu and Mitti into an “endgame” just for the sake of pairing. At this point in the story, it was far more important to show that a woman can stand on her own, make her own choices, and rebuild her life without depending on anyone.

Kuljeet’s character was another strong point. Her change of heart and her decision to support the truth were powerful. She proved that only a woman can truly empower another woman, and she wouldn’t even spare her own son if he strayed from what is right. Rohit and Prithvi’s eventual realization that they were backing something evil also added depth and balance to the story. Overall, the show ended on a message that mattered: women standing up for themselves, supporting each other, and choosing truth over blind loyalty.

We still feel that “Sampoorna” had the potential to be so much better if it had stronger casting, tighter storytelling, and, honestly, a more receptive audience. It’s disappointing that the TRPs never picked up, because it shows a sad truth about what viewers are choosing to watch. We hope things change with time. Maybe one day we’ll get that one show, a true path-breaker, that not only takes risks but also gets the appreciation it deserves. And when that happens, it could set a new direction for years to come.

As “Sampoorna” moves toward its final episodes, we are now seeing the brutal, “animal-like” side of Akash. He has completely lost control of himself. There is no guilt, no hesitation, nothing. He even comes up with a plan to kill both Naina and Mitti, believing it will solve two problems in one shot, “Ek teer do nishaan.”

Akash is convinced that everything is still in his hands because he has Prithvi by his side, and Prithvi’s political background gives him a false sense of power and protection. But what Akash doesn’t realise is that he is slowly slipping into madness. The people who once stood with him are turning away one by one: Mittal, Prithvi and his father, and now even his own brother, Rohith. Bit by bit, he is losing the support he relied on, without even noticing.

Akash’s plan worked, at least for a while. Naina lost her life, and Mitti was badly injured. She even suffered a miscarriage. But Akash has no idea that Naina’s baby survived. This child has the power to destroy everything Akash believes he has secured. Mitti, heartbroken but determined, decides to raise Naina’s baby as her own. The child fills the emptiness in her life, completing her world. She names the baby “Sampoorna,” giving the child a purpose and a promise.

From this moment, Mitti swears to take revenge on Akash. She refuses to let Naina’s story end in tragedy. Sattu stands with her, declaring that no other woman should ever have to go through what Naina, Suhana, Mitti, and so many others have faced. Together, they promise to fight back and bring justice.

Sattu’s reaction when he saw the dead body, thinking it was Mitti, was a mix of shock and panic, and the sudden relief on his face when he realised Mitti was still alive brought a few unintentional laughs. It’s obvious now that Sattu has feelings for Mitti. But still, he could have shown a little more concern for Naina too, especially since he has been put back on the case.

We really wish “Sampoorna” had a better run, with a stronger script and better actors. But if the TRP system decides everything, wishes like this will probably never come true.
