If you haven’t seen, my short film @filammovie was published online this month for #filipinoamericanhistorymonth #fahm and is collaborating with @wellbeingsorg @wetatvfm @pbs FilAm was created and went through the film festival circuit in 2023 and we are very excited to be sharing it online! This is a film that can reach beyond just Filipinos. Many other cultures have had to learn to assimilate in America and find a way to still celebrate their roots. I hope that this film not only gives more Filipino representation in media, but also makes you laugh, makes you think, and makes you want to celebrate the diversity around us. My previous short film @filammovie is now being featured on @wellbeingsorg for #FilipinoAmericanHistoryMonth #FAHM 🇵🇭 🇺🇸 Check out the film at wellbeings.org FilAm” tells the story of a young Filipino American named JP, a boy on the cusp of adulthood who’s struggling to figure out his place and the world, and who he really is. Is he Filipino enough? Is he really American? And why does any of that even matter? JP is surrounded by opinionated but loving family and friends, who will help guide him on his path to finding his identity. #filam #shortfilm #filipino

Odie had the absolute pleasure of interviewing @theroryross and @visionreyent to sit down and talk their film, Path of the Lost. There were insights into filmmaking, acting, delving further on character and props, as well as playing a few games about their creation in a Galaxy, Far, Far Away. Head over to https://youtu.be/IP6w71ocVLw?si=sgkB7PFfRgZNNVC4 to learn more! A huge thank you to both @allisonmariereyes and Rory and may the force be with you! What if we could actually SEE a planet orbiting another star?! 👀🪐 On Monday, we talked about how the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will help discover thousands of exoplanets — but today on Road to Roman, we’re talking about something different: 📸 Roman’s Coronagraph Instrument. Stars are so bright that the planets around them are usually completely lost in their glare. Roman’s coronagraph will demonstrate technology designed to block and control that starlight, allowing scientists to directly image and study some giant exoplanets and the dusty disks around nearby stars. And the REALLY exciting part? 🤯 This technology could help pave the way for future missions capable of directly imaging smaller, potentially Earth-like worlds. 🌎✨ 11 DAYS to launch! 🚀 #RoadToRoman #RomanSpaceTelescope #NASA #STEM #Space

🎬 PATH OF THE LOST ⭐ Star Wars Fan Film Not too many fan films feature pod racers, so it's really nice to see them pop up here in this very recently released 2026 film from Vision Rey Productions. I must admit I haven't watched the full 38 minutes yet, but while browsing new releases this opening really stood out and felt like it needed an airing straight away. Fantastic scene setting, great flyover photography, impressive effects and costumes. The production quality is genuinely striking, and I'm confident the rest of the film likely reflects this. Set after the fall of the Empire, with the Jedi scattered, the story follows Zetho, a once talented Padawan hiding from his fate on a desert planet, spending his days pod racing and dodging pit lords, until a dangerous stranger arrives and a shadow formed of rage and grief begins growing between the seams of the universe. The makers crowdfunded this on Indiegogo, which is always worth flagging. As well as raising funds it's a brilliant way to build hype and community around a project before release. A two pronged process and well worth investigating Kickstarter or Indiegogo if you're thinking about funding your own short. 👀 Created by: Vision Rey @visionreyent / visionrey.com 🌟 Search for 'PATH' on FanFilmEmpire.com where you can rate and review the full film and hundreds more. Cannes was a magical place. ✨ Being surrounded by so many talented filmmakers and creatives couldn’t help but leave me inspired about the future of storytelling. I’ll 100% be back next year. Thank you to Pajama Party for an unforgettable evening—and for letting us be the most comfortable people at Cannes. 😎 Stick around for the end to see my face when we found out our direct train to Cannes had been canceled. 😂 More photos (and Allison content) coming soon. This was just the vertical footage I had on hand. ☺️ #Cannes #Cannes2026 #FilmFestival #ActorLife #Filmmaking
